Does Imperial skill Red Diamond on-hit effect apply to attacks with Restoration staff?

    It does.
    There has been a lot of debate since Beta on whether melee specifies range or simply references Left-Click attacks.
    I was hoping someone may have some solid insight into this particular issue by now.

    They confirmed that the khajit racial not working on bows was actually a bug and not intended, so even though it says melee, they confirmed it was supposed to work for range as well.

    Now remains to be understood if only physical or magical damage as well, since those 2 are different. Staff use magic damage for their AA's from what I gather.

    I remember watching a video about how Staff's left-click damage increases based on Stamina stat, so I was not certain if the implications could carry over to skills like this.

    Why not just download the foundry tactical combat addon (or something like that, dunno exact name)
    easy way to check it with that.

    Melee attacks and bashes proc Red Diamond or "Star of the West"

    D. staves for example don't, that I have tested. So I am to assume they don't proc R. staves either.

    So I'm assuming the imperial racial "Red Diamond" does not work off of bow attacks? I was about to make an imperial sorcerer bow user, but if that's true I may go another race.
    I didn't think my hangover was that bad this morning until I spent 10 minutes trying to log into my old Etch-A-Sketch

    So Star of the West is the imperial healing proc? It's working with bows then, according to FTC, unless something else is proccing it like my twilight matriarch (which I highly doubt).
