Why didn't you just make this an MMO?

"Skyrim! Skyrim!" you always heard pleaded.
And so with little thought, you simply conceded.
You catered to the whiners, and opened the whole game.
And now into Veteran Rank, this is all such a shame.
“It's going to be great. It's going to be cool.”
We all stand here wrong, looking dumb—a fool.
Sure the combat is neat, a nice change of pace.
Except, oh wait, it's been done, and with even more grace.
“Then we'll look to something else, another avenue perhaps.”
Except everywhere we look, all we get... are scraps.
Back to the point: they tried so hard to relate.
To make this game so familiar... and that was the bait.
But they've failed on both fronts: Console and PC.
Unable to bridge the gap, the gap we all see.
I don't want one character to be able to do it all.
I want many, different, unique—I don't want to hit this wall.
For that's what I've got: A huge boring pain.
And in the end, it seems, we'll all be the same.
Crafted gear and elitism, in a game full of “choice”.
Yet in this empty space, I can hardly find my voice.
You did wrong by saying, “you can do and have it all.”
And your marketing was the same—just utterly banal.
We want the style of ES, but not every same aspect.
We paid and expected MMO, of the expected facet.
It's been less than a month and I see all the hate.
I'm sure you can see: You've got a lot on your plate.
Is this the next FF14? Let's let you decide.
You could simply say: “Hey, at least we tried.”
And you did, we see... kinda... not really.
But you can fix this now, and do it ideally.
Screw those kids who want it all.
F*** those Skyrim cries of natal.
This is an MMO and we want to see it.
Not some empty endgame that will make us all quit.
Veteran Rank is a pathetic excuse.
End it. Leave it. Give it the noose.
Fire whoever thought of it, and hire someone smart.
Give us a feeling of challenge AND reward... Give us the a la carte.
We obviously like Elder Scrolls. There's something good here.
But as it stands, it'll be a failure, a failure I not-so fear.
As it stands, it deserves it. It's boring monogamy.
Those who say otherwise, haven't seen anything.
They're blind, bias, or ignorant, and that's just listing a few.
In time they may see and also bid this adieu.
Sorry, no, I'm not leaving. I'll briefly stick around.
But only for 30 days, and then I'm out of town.
Unless, of course, things change and get better.
