I’m at a loss and I hope someone can point me in the right direction. My game audio has stopped working.
I have ensured that the game audio settings for both Music and Sound are on and the volume is up, as well as the master volume is up. I’ve confirmed it at the login screen, and the character select screen, and in game. The sound works when I launch the game and the Bethesda logo and splash screen run, then goes silent. The sound works if I choose Play Cinematic from the login screen, but there is zero sound on the login screen or while playing the game.
I’ve tried different audio devices, updated drivers, disabled and re-enabled devices and services, nothing made a difference.
Audio is working just fine in all other applications and games, this problem is specific to ESO, and just started yesterday.
Any ideas?

✭✭✭✭✭Nvm figured it out. The sound was ON when viewing the UI but the UserSettings file had it set to 0. I have an audio issue that I really don't know how to fix, Audio in the game is fine and working except in west skyrim.
when doing the new quests, I hear the backgrounds sound , but the npc's have no voice ! having to read the words which is no fun at all! Audio is normal in every other part of the game and npc's are heard everywhere else. So I think it might be a bug of some sort?0 -
