When I am at a spot that I have to dig for stuff the tutorial says that the closer you are to the treasure the brighter green it gets.

I don't see any difference the colour stays the same the brightness stays the same and I just dig up some dirt here and there and hope to find something.

Can someone please explain it to me because I don't understand it.

Also what happends if you activate the eye while your digging for something? I don't see what it does.

    Its kinda like game Minesweeper.
Red - far away, yellow - close, green - the relic is here.

Click anywhere and watch where the white zones are, they indicate where green tile possibly is. When you get green tile, just dig it, then dig patches next to it. Green, trivial level treasure has 2x3 tile.

When you start doing higher level digs, you have to figure out when to use the other tools like the Shovel and the Spade. They can be very powerful and time savers, but they can also destroy your dig. If that happens, no big deal, there is another dig in the same area. Remember to use the Antiquity Tool to find Digs, saves a ton of time.

Hint on Shovel, it only removes layers on the same layer as the center, so sweep away evenly before using it. Careful using the shovel on the steaming squares, that can be bad. Good news is the Encasements are never under those. Sometimes next to them, but not under. The Trowel can quickly get you down to the bottom to see which direction the encasement is going. Later on you can use the trowel on the steamers safely.

Master level digs (the 5 part digs for the things like the Ring of Wild Hunt) are pretty much down to luck until you get the final increase in dig time.

Artaeum is a great place to grind out levels. I got to Level 5 in about 3 hours there. Doing a World Tour of Zones for the mid levels keeps things interesting. Then back to Arteaum for the last couple of levels.

This has a good guide to leveling the skill lines

Note, this Skill Line is a Skill Point Sink, so you may only want one or two characters to level this, and then feed leads from your other characters to this one. Me, only my Master Crafter and Farmer are going to level Antquities.

Are you colorblind by any chance?
That can be the issue then. Not sure how ti is solved in ESO tho since RGB is the issue for colorblind.

No I just had a brainfart LOL. It just did not click. So stupid like looking at something right in front of you and not seeing it.
