What would be a good substitue for Flames of Oblivion. I want to morph it to Cauterize for pvp and my full vamp build (for funzies)... Scalding rune is not as powerfull people say...

Any others skills that pop to mind that would serve a worthy alternative?

Your only real alternative is Inner Light as that will give you Prophecy. But you will lose out on the damage component in favor of more Max Magicka.

Yeah inner light is also on the same bar. That's the only reason i'm considering swapping it out.

Hard to say what other skills you should run if we don't know what others skills are already on your bars and what kind of PvP you're trying to do.

True. Some more info is required. The replacement i'm looking for is for pve. Cauterize is the morph i'll use for pvp and i don't feel like swapping morph every time.
    Skills on my bars are
Engulfing, Burning embers, talons, blood for blood, inner light

    Back bar
Eruption, trap, flames of oblivion, wall of element, inner light

Mystic Orb maybe? Might not have quite the damage, but as a tank I can attest the more of those things I can pop for free stamina the happier I am.

EDIT: Scaling Rune might be another alternative.

I second the use of orbs and scalding rune. Both are very strong alternatives to FoO.

So you have two flex spots currently in that setup (inner light x2). No reason to run IL in actual content on DK. If you arent running FOO, replace with a shield/heal (deep breath works great for this in trash pulls), and replace your two inner lights with Scalding Rune(mages guild) and Mystic Orb (undaunted).

I would also suggest putting engulfing and embers on your back bar, especially if you run elf bane (you should def run elfbane in PVE). It makes the rotation way easier.

Lastly, the real answer is to just quickly change your morph when you PVP. Costs a few K at most.

Thanks for the advice. You are suggesting that I swap my bars around like this? I am running elf bane (2 armoir pieces and 3 jewelry so its active all the time)

    front bar:
FOO , talons, blood for blood, scalding, flex spot for shield/heal?

    back bar:

engulfing, burning embers, eruption, wall of elements, trap

I'm a returning player that just got geared up again and looking for improving my build so thanks for answering all the questions.
