What's your experience with getting the Malacath Brutal Scourge Hoop mythic lead in Betnikh?

I know it has dropped before, but curious to hear about everyone's experience and what kind of time sink this may require.

After a few hours of killing wolves, spiders, mudcrab etc. no luck and not sure it's worth it... (got other leads tho).

~Edit: adjusted title to avoid confusion. mine finally dropped from a spider--after 3+ hours of wolfmageddon.

Yeah, I pulled it on the first day, after the queue started up. Doesn't do me a lot of good though, since I didn't buy the expansion.

I was doing the other Antiquities in the zone, and killed some mobs on the way. I think it dropped after like 40 mobs killed in the zone overall.

But I know someone in the zone was farming zombies for 2.5 hours to get it. Others got it literally off of their first wasp. So RNG can vary greatly.

Interesting... Wonder if ZOS set a daily drop limit on it... that area is full of people literally vaporizing mobs as they spawn. Good to know it's dropping tho. thx

I tried for more than an hour (on two chars), no luck. Dropped some other leads, though, but phew... sparks no joy.

I got it in the first five minutes I went out to find it. Drops off wolves.

I got it after killing a bunch of wolves. Took a bit but not too long. It really did feel like the New Life event with all of the dead wolves around though.

What I'm more concerned about is the drop rate for motifs from treasure maps. Either that or I've been having the worst RNG luck with those. And the fact that one of the Band of Brutality leads comes from an IC boss, so I need to deal with the horrors of PvP. At least there's a MYM coming up soon so I have an excuse to head over there (and get ganked repeatedly).

Pretty fast all things considered. Took about an hour of killing wolves before I got it, but I was way too powerful because when I poked them they died instantly. Meant there was no sharing kills with other people.

Killing wolves. First time: about 10 minutes. Second time: Half an hour. It was always the most time consuming part.

Yesterday I started to look for lead of Ring of Wild Hunt. I've done it in less than an hour. World Bosses in Green Shade and Murkmire 1st attempt. Public dung in glenumbra, 2nd boss. Elden Hollow, 3 runs. Malabal Tor was "longest" because I had to kill like 5-6 world bosses.

I was heading crouching to IC crafting station to do master writ when I saw people of my aliance fighting some boss. So I sent a few fireballs and got a lead. It was first boss I killed in IC for 5 years I think. and I don't play PvP at all.

About 3 hours doing circuits of the island. Lots of materials gathered but eventually dropped from a wasp.

Maybe 30-40 min both times I've gotten it but I've been farming for the TS sticky leather lead in Artaeum and Summerset roughly 2 hrs a day for over 2 weeks without any luck - so RNG still sucks for me lol

I got it within a few kills. My friend took 2 days. Its VERY rng based.
