Multiple Gathering for Surveys

I don't really know if this has been talked about before but people who do their daily crafts with all of their characters usually get a lot of surveys. Sometimes i'm having 4-5 of the same survey. So can we just get a feature that allows us to collect all of the total amount of materials from the same surveys? For example, if i'm to get 3 of the same blacksmith survey, i should be able to collect like 54-60 ores from a single nod.

What do you people think about this, wouldn't it be a time saver?

If it's the same survey location, you just run away for a bit to let the nodes reload, then come back and loot them again.

I suspect your suggestion would fail when applied to alchemy and enchanting, since those pull randomly from the rune/reagent pool rather than giving a set type of mat. Generally speaking, you want that variety.

Just do a set number of zones each day. 1 to 3 zones is doable even with multiple surveys in just a few minutes.

You generally only have to ride as far as not having line of sight to the survey area, sometimes even closer.

Take advantage of porting to friends or guildmates to save time on cross country travel.

If you have a good stock of Enchanting runes, you may want to just destroy the surveys rather then spend tome gathering something you don't need.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Well yes, i know about that back and forth thing but there might be too many surveys to do it, and i think it would be time consuming. But you're right about the alchemy and enchanting ones, those may ruin the idea, but except those, i think it's not that hard to implement.

On top of alchemy and enchanting, you have random drops of nirn in Craglorn, and style mats in a few other areas, which would have to be taken into account as well.

If you did get the same alchemy mat X the amount of surveys you had, that would be awesome though. Mainly since you can re-spawn the flowers by running away and back until you get the ones you want without consuming the survey.

I have one alt that stores and does surveys. She is max level in all crafts and when her inventory nears 200 I do all her stored surveys - takes a couple of hours.

Quite like multiple surveys. Last time she had 9 wood in Murkmire and just rode away 100 yards and back. Much quicker than porting to different zones.

A few odd ones - like the jewelry one in Wrothgar that's located half way down a cliff. There I either log out/log back or port to a house and leave straight away.

If you do not like the spawn on an Alchemy survey, just ride away and it refreshes.

    Have fun out there.

As I don't have plus, I do them as I get them if I can, otherwise they overwhelm me pretty quickly.

The mechanic of having to ride off and come back is terrible, and a waste of time. It’s particularly bad in places like Wrothgar that have some difficult to access locations.

A better solution would be to spawn a new set of nodes immediately after each group of six is fully harvested until the surveys for a location are expended.

Yeah this would be a great idea.

I don't even see an issue with the pool of items for alchemy mats. Want differrent ones? Just ride away a few seconds and then come back. At least it would only be those ones and very occasionally.
