Quest Name: Greymoor Rising
Quest Stage: Listen to Svana

I attempted to force exit game and reload. Does not work. Other people have attempted to abandon a quest and reshare to continue. Does not always work.
Just not able to listen to the poor Svana.

    Unfortunately, I'm at the same point. I can repeat the "Listen to your Companions" step by going back into the Temple of the Divines, then heading back into the quest area, but it doesn't help.

    Blocking issue, full stop, for the story line quests.

    I am having the same problem. I've abandoned and will try to get it again.

    Followup: After starting the quest over it worked. Except for the final boss fight where I had to kill the boss three times. :)

    This seems like a major bug to have not fixed after it showed up on the pts (the main quest bugging out at a critical stage) wow what a total *** move zos, oh wait this is par for the course really...
    Magic does not die. It merely sleeps until called forth into the world again.

    Same. Some of my guildies claimed to have abandoned the quest then redo works.
    I'll wait for a fix before having another go.

    For me this quest got bugged at last stage, Vampire Lord became unkillable - I got him to 0HP with no further reaction - he was simply following me doing nothing. So i waited some minutes until combat reset, second attempt. The same. Third attempt - during one of his "ambush atacks" he teleported himself out of tower and vanished ;)
    So I turned game off. Finished quest next day with no problems, synergy appeared this time properly

    I ran into this bug this morning, after the v6.0.6 patch. I enter the court yard, listen to my companions, they exit the courtyard but neither of the doors will open for me.

    PC version.

    Hi everyone,

    We're aware of this issue and a fix will be in a future incremental patch. In the meantime, resetting the instance should allow you to successfully complete the quest. Please see this Support article for more info.

    Sigh, in 26 days from now...
    Please reconsidering issuing another patch in the mean time. :neutral:

    I really wish that ZOS would split up platforms when it comes to patching, giving them the opportunity to fix platform-specific issues much faster than having to wait for an all-inclusive patch. Case in point: macOS game client issues. macOS should get it's own updates separate from the PC client that fixes Mac-specific issues. And now with game-breaking quest issues, the platforms on which the game are already available should get their own patches, fixing the issues now instead of having to wait for Stadia to go live before we get a patch. I don't know why this is not a thing.

    And why bundle macOS and Windows executables into the same download? I'm curious if the Windows version of the game also comes with a macOS executable like the macOS client comes with a useless .exe? This is all just really strange.

    I'm hitting this today too. Tried /reloadui, quit and restart the game, logged out and back in - nothing. I'm not sure how to follow the directions they provided to "leave the area for 15 minutes and return" since I'm in the middle of a quest. Do I just go back through the door I can from and wait 15 minutes? Quit the game for 15 minutes? Do I have to teleport out and come back (and what state will the quest be in then?) or what? Not helpful.

    Update, I switched toons and played for awhile. When I logged back with the one on this quest it worked fine .

    Stuck on this too. Even closed the game and came back to it an hour later and still no luck. Just won’t let me kill the guy. So frustrating!

    So much for having this fixed for console release. I would have thought that a major bug related to the main story would be a top priority. Guess not.🙄

    So, logged off. Waited 30 minutes. Got through the door and then killed the boss TWO times and he came back again...not able to complete the MAIN QUEST! What is this? Ridiculous.

    Happened to me yesterday, yes.
    I had to go to the previous zone, log out, wait 30 min, log back in and the "Listen to your companions" unblocked....

    Now I have the issue with the never-dying boss :(

    Yep...we ran across this last night...we went back thru the door and out again to try and trip it....then saw this and the link on leaving the area for 15 minutes...we went back where you cross the bridge on the other side. While inside we saw our companions pass us and go thru the door several times....

    ,,,but other issue was we had to do the final fight 4 times....the boss glitched and we just kept playing it over and over...

    Tried the final fight again this morning after the maintenance and it worked fine.

    Anyway, just don't reset the quest, it's not worth it. Do something else and try again later.

    I ran into this. Abandoned Quest and rerun it. It worked, but was quite frustrating as it killed the storyline momentum.
