:) Any help is appreciated, any tips on finding bonus item. I found it twice then nothing.

I also have to relog about every 2 digs as things just dont work.

I have my eye on my quickslot, i know to go J then hover on my lead to do mini game and map my dig...im level 3 and 4
I know how to find my dig spots with my eye and i know to use R to find the green square to start digging for the item.

I know green is the spot, yellow is close and red is far away

What is white? Just a bit less close than yellow?

In a way i almost hope it's broken so i dont feel so dumb for not finding the bonus item lol

Ty for any tips and help you offer 😊😊😊

if you use /reloadui it fixes it a hell of a lot faster than relogging

Never seen a white one in the 2K+ I've dug up between pts and live

finding bonus items is literally just all luck, however I find it easiest to locate them on green/blue leads via the shovel as long as you prep a 3x3 area to be the same level before using it, you'll have enough time after finding the antiquity to clear about 60% of the dig site [cuz bonus items live on the bottom level]

as for finding them on high level digs, pot luck with trowel stabbing in random points...you won't have time to prep an area and shovel it all the way down.

Thank you very much that makes a lot of sense...i now have an idea of how it works a bit better.😊
I'll try out your suggestion ...looking forward to trying it when i login tomorrow😊

Don't relog. If your map seems frozen after the scry (it shows the blue digsite area) try pressing "E" to continue. Then you can interact with your world map and everything else on your keyboard. The initial dig site map displayed, after a successful scry, cannot be interacted with (although it is identical to your world map).

Are you referring to that large white square that shows up when you, for example, hover over a yellow scryed spot? That just indicates the range that the artifact could be in from that spot. So somewhere in that box is one or more spots directly over the artifact.

The orange and red ones work slightly different, as they indicate both a maximum and minimum range.

If you leave the Antiquity covered with one tile of one layer, you can search for more bonus items.
Keep an eye on the time-bar to uncover the last tile of one layer of the antiquity on time.

EDIT: on former occations I found more loot (or thought I did) then the green / blue loot would normally give ( respectively 2 and 3 loot), trying to get a screenshot from the extra loot, but can't seem to reproduce the output today.
So I consider the former to be hypotetical for now.

Tactic worked on a green one. The 'site' (for a green quality treasure) will close when you find one lootable after you uncovered a whole treasure.

Leaving a tile of one single layer on the treasure (which can be removed with one brush use) gives you time to search for more loot.
When the time-bar has one turn left (mine is a t 17,59 minutes), use the brush on the last tile on the treasure

Still checking whether it works on a blues one, as of yet I haven't been that lucky.

EDIT: not sure however whether 2 is the maximum of loot you can find per green site.
