Abandon Performance Updates?

Seriously the rationale on the website is because you introduced even more performance issues and can no longer provide updates due to Greymoor?

Seriously every patch has degraded performance and now Greymoor provides the icing on the cake. So you're just giving up? It honestly does not feel like ZOS is giving up on performance transparency.. it feels like theyre giving up on performance fixes altogether because they cant fix it.

Yes. We talked about it earlier today.

Remember, Zos is not to keen on communicating. They have acknowledged this on more than one occasion since the game launched.

Can't, and giving up, are two very different things. Also try not to assume whats going on with a development team you are not a part of.

Ugh and we were hoping after 6 years Cyrodiil would finally be fixed.

Honestly, they say they are working on it, and I am sure they are, but it is like trying to grab something that is just out of reach. You can try until your last day, but unless you do something to change, it isn't going to happen. After all these years, I have to think that ZOS knows what needs to change. For whatever reason, that is not something that can change. What they are working on is trying to find alternative fixes.

Amongst all the issues this game has,
I don't mind not being informed of what is being fixed.
Afterall nothing is , was or will be.
This is a milestone of failure.
Not only being unable to fix anything
but evidently avoiding leting your paying costumers know about.

Like.. the base coding perhaps? That's my guess anyway.
If I remember correctly, the re-introduced stun on Incap was due to the silencing effect having some base coding contradictions with the changed block mechanics in Update 25. And they can't change the base code without having to make a completely new game, due to how everything afterwards is built upon it.

So you're siding with zos? You know they've changed the TOS recently? If they punish you, you're not allowed to discuss it??? Wtf? If they punish me because they don't like or can't take constructive criticism, then they shouldn't be in that job position. Also, as I've said many times, they do an update or a new expansion and all hell breaks loose. More downtime then expected. They don't reimburse us for it. And you think, by taking their side, they'll be your "fwiend"? Screw up and I guarantee you they drop you like a hot potato. Instead of saying "we're aware", explain it to us. Not everyone is stupid when it comes to games and computers.

Yea I think a lot of people are late to this game. So they give this company more leniency than somebody like me. Every update since the lighting patch has degraded performance. Greymoor is just another example of it getting worse. This is not isolated, this is not being fixed.

They are no longer doing performance updates because from a marketing standpoint its absolutely killing them. Players see all these supposed performance improvements and instead its the opposite, the game is performing terribly. This erodes confidence in the developers.

Honestly, at this point the only people who arent effected are the housing simmers. Except even they got locked into their houses for a short time lol.

Combat is a core tenet of any MMO and it just blatantly does not work anymore due to desync, lag, etc. Sad times but I'm choosing to speak with my money on this one.

PS. Notice did you see how archaeology doesnt require any combat? That's not a mistake ;)
