Nightfall Preview Crate, what did you get?

I saw a post on reddit asking about the content of the nightfall preview crate from the preorder and i am wondering: did EVERYONE got the same items out of these crates?
I got: Hircine´s Hunt body and face markings & the Bat with orange stripes, it seems that the players from reddit all got the same ( but since the response was from "only" 9 players there, maybe some players got other things?
I still find it weird that the "pet card" in the middle was a bat pet this time, i mean ok it is a vampire expansion, but i thought we get one "pet version" off the upcoming nightfall mounts (like the gloomspore preview crown crate), as i opened the nightfall preview crate i thought: oh matching face and body marking perfect ( i like them) and then i prayed: " please from the "pet-version of the mounts" please NOT the pony, it is way to big ( i got the pony from the gloomspore preview).... to my surprise it was the bat and i was like: "wait, wait, what? These crates gave me a bat pet...ok cool, not what i expected, but still cool...now i heard: everyone got the same and i think, ok these items are good, but my "surprise egg" feeling is gone.
I still wish the body and face markings would be applied OVER a skin and not under it, would give us more individuality when using a skin, i mean i dont have it (but i will buy it if it appears again in the crown store crates), but what is the "Bright-Throat Scales skin" without the Bright-Throat body markings ( that we both get out of the same crate ( the xanmeer crates)).
So i ask you: Did you got something else or the same?

✭Exactly the same. I have 3 accounts with the Greymoor Chapter, and opened crates on both NA and EU servers, so 6 in total. (I only started taking screen shots on the 3rd crate when something began to smell fishy).

But if everyone gets exactly the same things I don't understand why they don't just tell us what they'll be and include them as normal pre-order bonuses instead of dressing it up as a random selection. ✭Exactly the same - opened once on Live, twice on PTS lol.
I love the bat and the markings are amazing on my black skinned Argonian but I can easily see how they aren't for everyone. Also, it is very odd that a crate has ALL the same items - at this point it really isn't a "crate" and could easily be stated as a bonus you get "pet bat" "body and face markings" for ordering.4 -

Preview crates are the free 'sample' crates they give out from time to time (usually as one of the daily log in rewards). They consist of one pet plus two random items from an upcoming crown crate season. Nightfall is the next season of Crown Crates (it's currently Gloomspore).0 -

✭It's interesting to note the descriptions from the official pre-purchase pages for the previous chapters...
Morrowind: A Dwarven Crown Crate that you can open for a chance to receive a Dwarven-themed mount, pet, costume, or other items
Summerset: Psijic Vault Crown Crate: Open for a chance at Psijic-themed mounts, pets, costumes, and more.
Elsweyr: A Baandari Pedlar Crown Crate - A mystery collection of Baandari items!
Greymoor: Nightfall Preview Crown Crate. A select collection of Nightfall-themed items!
So they didn't lie as such. They did give a "select collection of Nightfall-themed items", only they gave the same selection to everyone!
It is interesting to note that for Greymoor they have gone from giving a full Crown Crate, to a preview crate. However, as noted by the OP, where as every other preview crate released has had a pet related to that particular crate's season (i.e. a Gloomspore Pet in the Gloomspore Preview Crate), we get a totally unrelated bat.

Yes, i read it on reddit and thought: ok, so one of the bats i really wanted was given to us at a rate of 100%? ( i should aks in the forum if it is true and it seems like it is indeed true). I really love that bat and it is really cute, i am ok with giving it to everyone

I don't use non-combat pets normally, but I really love the bat and may use it on a theme build. It's really cute.

It's probably more accurate to say the whole point of the crate system is to insert gambling into a video game (and somehow get away with it), but yeah.
Frankly, this is better than getting one gamble crate because this "preview" crate doesn't have trash in it, but... if they are all the same there's no reason to even put them in gamble crates.4 -

I don't even have an issue with the fact they were put in a box.
But ZOS could have surely simply said "You're all getting the same stuff, but we're not going to tell you what it is until launch day."

Which wasn't anyone's expectation, because you can't break down Collectables from any of the crates, preview or not.

I would have preferred it if they had potions in, i do not use a single non combat pet and most tatoos look jank on khajiit fur for one and "body markings" are usually covered up entirely by your armor.
to me Gems are more valuable because i can buy what I want later0 -
