After the launch of Greymoor, almost everyone in the game has experienced the insane lag, ability/action delay, ping spikes, etc plaguing most of the main zones in the game. What I feel most people do not realize is that this lag is the EXACT same as the lag that has been occurring in cyrodiil for years. When it is so bad that it interferes with simple things like mounting, questing, and trading in major zones, how do you think it affects an activity like PVP that revolves around combat?

We've gotten an update that supposedly the delay is caused by "too many people being logged in", and that we'll be receiving a hotfix tomorrow that'll solve or greatly improve the issues. This comes just days after the release of a patch.
Below are two videos; the first is a clip from cyrodiil last patch. This clip was taken in blackreach around 8pm on Saturday, May 16th. The population was less than 5 bars OVERALL, and I was in the middle of a field with no players nearby whatsoever. Take note of the abilities that do not fire, despite the animations beginning and the skill icons on the bar indicating the ability was activated. Also notice how the dark deal animation remains on my character for about 3-6 seconds before actually taking the mag cost and restoring the stamina, all the while preventing me from doing anything else. Finally consider that this is in an unpopulated off campaign, not even the main campaign that remains full in the evenings and overnight.

This second clip was taken in stormhaven around midnight on May 28th, after the release of greymoor. Notice the EXACT SAME delays and general lack of functionality as the first clip.
https://streamable.com/41kf5nIf ZOS can address and potentially solve this issue in overland zones within days of it becoming an issue, why can they not do the same for cyrodiil when it has been that way for years?
