✭✭✭✭✭It'd be nice. Houses used to be giftable on the PTS, but there was a bug that prevented players from gifting houses that they owned. Hopefully that can be fixed so players don't have to beg Support to see if they can "gift" the house.1 -

I haven't put a lot of thought to what the downside to this would be, or how its different to gifting any other asset from the crown store. There were problems with people not being able to gift houses they already owned (via the automatic button system in the store), and there are also issues with people not being able to gift furnished houses, as apparently there's a problem that keeps ZOS from giving furnished homes for free (which is how the gift looks on the crown store end of things). It's why free homes in game are always unfurnished. I imagine they're looking to resolve one or both of these problems before instituting any kind of direct home gifting in the store.1
