How much to sell Trait gem?

I don't think I'm going to be using any more than my 3 favorite trait gems, but I'm currently hoarding a bunch of others that I know I won't use. So, what is a reasonable price to sell them? I often feel like I'm either giving my items away for too cheap or ask for a too high price.

Since there's no global AH, but more or less small trading guilds... The only accurate reply that can be given is "depends". If you're lucky, you're in some guild with big demand. If you're unlucky, you're in a guild with no demand at all. Now is the time to complain about no global AH. ;)

I guess it's not a big deal, it would be nice to at least get something that isn't as low as 10 or 20 gold per. Ah we'll, I guess I'll hold on to them and maybe craft something using the traits...then sell.

I've seen people in chat offering 500g for items with specific traits. Those are obviously so they can be researched though. You might just toss it up in chat and see what people offer you for it. Otherwise, just check your guild stores and see if there's gems already there.

All else fails, sell it for whatever you think is reasonable. Worst case, you either demand too much so it doesn't sell, telling you that you need to go lower, or you sell for less than you could have gotten which still leaves you with a profit.

use the stile gems to learn crafting, saves on your preferd stiles, but i think they won t be worth a lot, exept for the rare ones like daedric hearts, theres a oversupply of the normal ones if you loot regularly in houses

    Most will be effectively worthless.

Ones to hang onto and that will have value: Training, Infused, Precise, Sharpened, Impenetrable, Reinforced - I would expect those to be the the items with the most after market so the stones should reflect that.

Divines might also be a good one, since each piece with it will bump whatever the mundus bump is.

I love how people say only do these 2 the rest don't bother.

If you want to do some of the special crafted armour/weapons you need to have researched anywhere from 2-8 Traits to do it. So doing the 2 you think will be fine is okay if you have no plans to ever use one of those sets.

Myself I often find it better to do a bit of research before saying something is worthless.

I said effectively worthless because they have no value for the actual enhancement.

There will be a demand for the 8 I listed 4wpn/4armor(infused and training are on both) as well as possibly divine. Each of those will be desirable for the enhancement they offer as well as for fulfilling the requirement for crafting sets.

So if you are looking to stockpile, I would recommend those as they will have the highest demand, many of the others will be overflowing guild banks or cluttering guild stores as people try to sell stacks of Almandine or Turquoise in stacks of 100 for 5g.

As pointed out by the previous post, the set armors and weapons require that you know at least 3 enhancements for the piece and the higher ends sets require up to 8. So there will be a very limited demand for all of them at some point, but I also have no shortage of the gems as they are often part of the deconstruct process and I have stacks of each that I will never use, so I do not foresee you making much money with this.

That said the ones I have the fewest off are infused and training, since people are always asking for those items when learning a new wpn or armor type or trying to get the most out of their existing wpn/armor where the skill is already capped.

I have many traits in my invertory but where this trait can be enhanced? In the blacksmithing or clothing? I can not enhance anywhere... I crafted many weapons or armors on blacksmith or clothing table and i can see the trait slot on crafting table(menu) but my traits in my inventory don't seen in this section and so i can't enhance or craft traits. :disappointed::cold_sweat:
