Getting an error message (after servers came back up):

Unable to initialize a connection to Steam. Please ensure the game was launched through Steam or try again later.

    It only took 8 restarts of the ESO client to login... :/

    Same here! How is this resolved? After 5 mins I finally got logged in.

    The issue is resolved, and the European PC/Mac megaserver is now available. Thank you for your patience!

    eh, i dont know what happens. they dont fix it yet

    As there are already multiple threads discussing the recent login and loading issues, we are going to close this one.

    We have updates on a few different issues related to login, loading, and Greymoor access in the thread linked below. The recent maintenance has helped resolve many issues that players were experiencing yesterday.
