    Yep, started it a minute or so ago. Too bad we can't start playing until 8 AM EDT or later. I should be smart and go to bed now, but I'm playing Arena for a bit first.

    Not so sure about that. Over half of the 5 GB is downloaded already for me, but progress shows 10%. Two-part download, or just a lot of installing to go?

    Currently at 57000+ MB remaining on 'Applying patch', at 17%. We shall see.

    Only 45 Mbits here. Not like Google fiber or something. The DSL endpoint is just 100 meters up the road from my house.

    supposedly we have 50Mbps. only getting half of that speed right now. it's been really subpar with the whole COVID thing ongoing. it goes in and out a lot.

    Cable? If so that's why. Cable gives 'theoretical' numbers, and it depends how many people are using the line...

    Could be a crappy ISP, too, of course, if it's not cable. I'm just lucky here where I live that the cable company sucks, but the direct ISP is good here. Some other cities, that same ISP isn't as good.

    EDIT: However, I am getting the 45 Mbits I'm paying for, pretty much all the time.

    Yes I'm on PC, I had to stop and restart my Launcher and it started patching immediately a half hour ago.

    Yes. Download doesn't necessarily mean they're not doing maintenance. Just means they made the patch available to download for the users.

    Meh, just use the down time to try out that weird thing mortals do at night. What's it called? Sweeping in a bed? Seems like an odd thing to do in the middle of the night, but mortals are strange creatures.

    i'll be honest, there is no way its that big of expansion at 5gb.. no way no how, i'm disappointed.

    It's also possible some of the art was already part of previous downloads. That's been done before, when the art is already done, but the rest isn't.

    I don't know that you can tell anything definitive from the size of the download.

    mine started out at 57gigabytes dude read the wrong size thought it was 5.7gb

    You forget that part of the performance improvements included a more efficient patching process with much smaller downloads than we have seen previously. So believe it :)
