Do I need to disable addons before updating?

Fairly new to PC, can't find any info regarding this. I use Minion, they're backed up. I know some addons won't get updated right away, some still will work anyway I assume. But do I need to disable them before updating the game? Should I uninstall or just disable in settings? Sorry for the dumb question.

You dont need to disable all addons, just make sure the "Allow Out of Date Addons" box is checked so that they will still be active after the update, then keep an eye out for Addon updates for the newest content.

Yeah the game will automatically uncheck the allow out of date box so that no add-ons will be loaded the first time you log in. Then you can play with them and find out which work.

Thank you, I have it enabled, and also set Minion to auto update.

Thank you, I have it enabled, and also set Minion to auto update.

You'll have to enable it after the update. It will be disabled by default.

A lot of the addon authors have already updated via the PTS. And many others will update over the next week. Things should work just fine over all.
