Haunted by the Baandari Pedlar - SOLVED

PC/NA ESO Plus - Ever since I was gifted a Gloomspore crown crate and redeemed the contents, every time any of my characters on my account hits escape, inventory, journal or so forth, the Baandari Pedlar spawns on my screen and on the ground in front of my character. He's still sitting there on the ground when I walk away. The only way I can make him go away is to go into Crown Crates icon and then exit it. But he's back next time I hit escape, inventory of whatever. @LannStone

This happened to me after updating the Lazy Writ Crafter add-on with the new option to de-spawn pets while doing writs. After I changed it back to “never” the problem went away (on several alts, so I’m pretty sure that add-on is what’s causing the bug for me, unless someone else has a better idea). Of course, if you’re not using that add-on, it must be something else...

This was exactly the problem! When I deactivated that option (which I only recently checked) and relogged, the problem disappeared. Strange side effect :) Thanks!

You’re most welcome. I learned it here on the forums a few days ago myself.
