Graphics aren't the cause of lag. It's on their end, not ours.

None of these points are even worth voting for.

Crashes aren't the major issue, and haven't been for months for most players.

I find it odd that the first point is shorter queue times as that is something Zos has little control over as it is due to the number of players queueing for that campaign.

Ofc, Zos could increase the population cap but that would increase the other issues we deal with during busy hours.

The poll should have had two possible responses.

Fix the performance in Cyrodiil.
IDC because I never go into Cyrodiil.

BTW, lowering graphics is performance at your PC/Console/local level and does nothing for the server. That is a pointless reply. What effects server performance is the number of things the server needs to calculate and report. It could care less about the quality of how it looks.

Rewrite client-server code, made connection one that won't be de-prioritized by nearly every ISP on the planet, cut senseless floating point, adjust some of these sets that literally cause the game to lag even more and did so + was reported on the PTS (like Hiti), maybe move away from a system of additive and multiplicative math to fix some balance issues that are better kept quiet about .

Fix Stuck in combat bug

Fix self-rooting teleport bugs such as Ambush and Streak (not Cyro specific but most commonly found)

Delete Volendrung from the game, if you've gave up on the system because the Hammer is awful, at least delete the awful hammer.

Fix having to press a keep door 20 times to get through it

Significantly nerf off healing, bring back dynamic ulti gain but in a way where the larger group get less as opposed to the smaller group getting More , introduce more utility siege, remove milegate and bridge destruction, make rapid regen a self heal only, remove emperor system and buff (what logic is it to make the give the most active and populated faction a buff and the bomber who plays the most double stats?)

They can (continue to..) ignore any and all class a balance and I'd be 100% satisfied IF I COULD ACTUALLY PLAY IN CYRODIIL!

It doesn't work 20 out of 24 hours of the day. Not a single PvP streamer is even hiding the fact it's completely unplayable. Anyone who has even the slightest interest in PvP and ever watches a Twitch stream for ESO is gonna hard pass on this game.

So yea, Cyrodiil is a hard pass. BGs may as well be skipped at prime time. But at least we can dig in the dirt together in a couple weeks. We can't even queue for BGs together!

...I'll just settle for a game that works. In a normal universe, a game meeting its normal operational standards shouldn't be considered 'improved'.

ways to improve lag,
1. Have less assets that need to be loaded (do we need that extra tree or resource node or the pile of wood next to a barn)
2. Standardise players outfits and mounts (server only has to load 3 outfits and 3 mounts for each faction)
3. Reduce Max population for each instance during peak times and increase the number of instances (this in theory should help spread the load on the server
4. Reduce rendering quality of skill animations and AOE effects (this should help with d-sync issue's and put a stop to the "crash builds")
5. Standardise player UI in Cyrodiil (reduce the number of addons relied on by alot of players

I just read yesterday about how COD us handling cheating by detection system AND 2 factor authentication SMS to mobile. So they catch hackers, AND make it really difficult to get back in with a new account without having to also procure a new mobile number.

Just thinking if ESO did something like this, they could move more stuff off the server again. Admittedly not sure how feasible that is, nor would I expect that investment. Just dreaming of an answer.
