When i usually send in a ticket in game i get a mail confirmation; this time the mail response was to open a bug report since i have an issue with a character. I got the confirmation pop up that the report was sent and a number asigned to it - but that was several days ago and no mail confirmation has arrived yet... is that normal? or do you not get mail confirmations with bug reports?
I hope you get a feedback when they are looking at it...mine is a character specific bug more so than a general game bug
You'll probably be better of raising a support ticked for the affected character rather than a bug report. Just remember to respond to the first automated email.
either way, at times, it can feel like you used >/dev/null, but just make sure you reply to any support emails, and only thiose emails, dont create a new ticket as it just goes to the back of the massive pile in the corner

I suspect that a lot of genuine support tickets get held up because of the number of simple bug reports that get wrongly submitted as support tickets. I'm not referring to the present case as we don't know what the OP's problem is, although it would appear that ZOS have said it's a bug and not an issue for support. We can't judge them for making that assessment without knowing what was in the report. In general it surely has to be right, however, that bug reports should be submitted outside the support ticket procedure and no acknowledgement or reply should be expected. That's how every other online game I've played since 1998 has handled things.
