ESO Launcher still launches the 32 bit version?

Anyone know why and how to get the launcher to default to launching the 64 bit app? The 64 bit app was released in 2016, why is the launcher still defaulting to the 32 bit one?
More importantly, how do I change it to open the 64 bit version?

You can find that version in the eso folder. Copy to desktop and start the game from there every time. It is not possible to activate it from within the 32 bit version.And so the Elder Scrolls foretold.You will be shy, and I will be bold.0 -

Thanks, that is what I was finding out when I looked it up. Absolutely silly the launcher can not do it. I already had the work around I just found it hard to believe in 2020 4+ years later the launcher is still locked into the 32 bit version. That is just wrong on several levels.
How hard could it be to add an option to select the 64 bit client in the launcher? Geeeeesh!!!1 -

✭✭✭✭✭My Launcher brings up the 64 Bit version, that is when I bother to use the Launcher.
You are much better off to use the direct link to the EXE, saves time and a ton of resources to not having the launcher running in the background. Only use it on patch days.
Also, if you disable the Splash Screens, you get into the game in seconds....Edited by Nestor on May 20, 2020 8:53PMEnjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
