The Assault and Support skill lines offer unique and interesting ways to benefit PvP players in Cyrodiil and IC. It would be nice to see some of these passives extend to players who prefer small-scale BG PvP. These skills have the opportunity to encourage players to adhere to the game mode's objective or capturing flags, relics and chaos balls, while also temporarily assisting teams who are stuck in their respawn points being farmed by one or more teams.
Flag Modes: Skills are designed to benefit players actively capturing a flag point and actively defending their flag. Benefits os this skill effect the player if they are within the flag's "capture radius".
Capture the Relic: It's probably too difficult to track proximity to moving relics, so I'm suggesting that location buffs are placed at your team's relic respawn point to assist defence. Could potentially be at opposition relic points too.
Chaos Ball: Benefits extend to either those wielding the Chaos Ball or within the ball's AoE.
Deathmatch: Benefits extend to those who are standing within their respawn zone, to counter being farmed by one or more teams.
My suggestions:
Assault
- Continuous Attack: Increases Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by (5%, 10%) and Magicka and Stamina Recovery by (10%, 20%) for 10 minutes after capturing a Lumber Mill, Farm, Mine, or Keep. In battlegrounds: Increases Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by (5%, 10%) and Magicka and Stamina Recovery by (10%, 20%) for 1 minute after capturing a Flag, Relic, or for the duration you wield the Chaos Ball.
- Reach: Increases the range of long-range abilities by 5 meters while near a Keep. In Battlegrounds, this feature occurs while in proximity to your team's captured Flag, Relic spawn point, team respawn zone or while wielding the Chaos Ball.
Support
- Siege Shield: In Battlegrounds, reduces incoming player damage by (3%, 5%) when placed over your team's captured Flag or Relic spawn point.
- Combat Medic: Increases the effectiveness of healing you initiate by (10%, 20%) when near a Keep. In Battlegrounds, increases the effectiveness of healing you initiate by (10%, 20%) when near your team's captured Flag, Relic spawn point or within the Chaos Ball area of effect.
