Update the Alliance War Skills to Benefit BG Players

The Assault and Support skill lines offer unique and interesting ways to benefit PvP players in Cyrodiil and IC. It would be nice to see some of these passives extend to players who prefer small-scale BG PvP. These skills have the opportunity to encourage players to adhere to the game mode's objective or capturing flags, relics and chaos balls, while also temporarily assisting teams who are stuck in their respawn points being farmed by one or more teams.

Flag Modes: Skills are designed to benefit players actively capturing a flag point and actively defending their flag. Benefits os this skill effect the player if they are within the flag's "capture radius".
Capture the Relic: It's probably too difficult to track proximity to moving relics, so I'm suggesting that location buffs are placed at your team's relic respawn point to assist defence. Could potentially be at opposition relic points too.
Chaos Ball: Benefits extend to either those wielding the Chaos Ball or within the ball's AoE.
Deathmatch: Benefits extend to those who are standing within their respawn zone, to counter being farmed by one or more teams.


My suggestions:

Assault
  • Continuous Attack: Increases Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by (5%, 10%) and Magicka and Stamina Recovery by (10%, 20%) for 10 minutes after capturing a Lumber Mill, Farm, Mine, or Keep. In battlegrounds: Increases Weapon Damage and Spell Damage by (5%, 10%) and Magicka and Stamina Recovery by (10%, 20%) for 1 minute after capturing a Flag, Relic, or for the duration you wield the Chaos Ball.
  • Reach: Increases the range of long-range abilities by 5 meters while near a Keep. In Battlegrounds, this feature occurs while in proximity to your team's captured Flag, Relic spawn point, team respawn zone or while wielding the Chaos Ball.

Support
  • Siege Shield: In Battlegrounds, reduces incoming player damage by (3%, 5%) when placed over your team's captured Flag or Relic spawn point.
  • Combat Medic: Increases the effectiveness of healing you initiate by (10%, 20%) when near a Keep. In Battlegrounds, increases the effectiveness of healing you initiate by (10%, 20%) when near your team's captured Flag, Relic spawn point or within the Chaos Ball area of effect.

    I would definitely like to see these passives get updated for bg but i don't think it will ever actually happen sadly.
    Battlegrounds have been around for 3 years now i think if they were interested to make the passives useful it would already have happened.

    Unfortunately they have given up on PvP. The only update we got in a year is one new siege weapon.

    Not even one new BG map.

    While I like the idea for battlegrounds skill progression, having more Alliance passives in battlegrounds will just add another gap between new vs skilled-up character. It's nicer to focus on player skill and build imo. The defensive buffs you mentioned would also make objectives more turtle-y and enable those unkillable tanks

    Seems better to not have any skills that buff BGs.

    And what is the point? Why have direct buffs to performance in BGs that come at no cost? Why add more passive buffs in 4v4v4 PvP? Just let people compete with their builds and strategy. Skip the buffs that you get from playing more. AvAvA it makes sense because everyone is just a single soldier in an army so the impact isn't pronounced.

    There is absolutely no reason to activate reach in BGs. That passive help players to play in big areas and as a crowd. BGs are small enough to play with normal ranges.

    Siege shield change is weird and not needed imo.

    Continuous Attack and Combat Medic can be implemented and they may be good additions. I think devs can use these 2 tools to balance BGs.
    BGs are filled with tanks and healer in a meta? Activate map wide Continuous Attack for that patch.
    Everyone die too quickly and there is too much damage in BGs? Disable CA and activate Combat Medic.
    Easy to to balance changes for devs.

    I think it's already balanced for the small scale fights of BGs.

    +20 ultimate a kill and reduced resurrection time is good enough.

    I would prefer to see a gladiator skill line with skills and passives taylor built for the different battle grounds types, but without being imbalance for example you could have a passive that increases your damage while holding the chaosball (not your defense) or another passive could grant you icreased ultimate gain when standing on a flag held by another team.

    Im not entirely sure how it would look, but i think a battlegrounds skill line could be pretty neat.

    Combat medic is already an overtuned passive that I personally wouldn't mind getting removed from cyrodil even. And BG's don't need more healing that's for sure.
    I think it's already balanced for the small scale fights of BGs.
