Um, because it can't get down? I'm guessing (adhering to in-game logic) that a harpy or seagull must have grabbed it off of the beach and accidentally dropped it up there.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

Well, going by that it would mean it's immortal because it would need to eat, but it can't get food up there lol so it should just jump down and would survive lol.
I suppose that in-game logic makes about as much sense as the ships in Evermore, Bangkorai that can actually go anywhere because their sails are too large to go underneath the bridge.....0 -

I've been to the tower, but I don't currently have a character with a skill that can get up there.
I saw somewhere during a search for info that someone said the Sorceror skill "Streak" will work.
I'm wondering if the Two-Handed skill "Critical Charge" would work. It has a longer range than "Streak."
I also tried to find the Mudcrab Merchant that was mentioned above in this thread.
There is a little island in the same spot where it could be found in TES III, but the two mudcrabs there are just mudcrabs, so I'm guessing it doesn't exist in this game.1 -

I saw a split second of character load screen in the video, and OP managed this on a Nightblade.
Sorc was the first thing that came to mind for me too, but evidently not. I'm going to dust off my mag NB this evening and take a look! If I can't figure it out, I'll attempt with sorc. Best of luck
