Nope. Just found out that we killed the scroll runner, and he respawned -- with the scroll -- at Kingscrest. Apparently, he knew about the bug and exploited it.

Your conclusion may or may not be correct.
(a) Kingscrest may have been the closest available respawn point.
(b) If it's a bug, then the player presumably has no control over whether they respawn with or without the scroll.
I'm not saying it wasn't a deliberate exploit, because I don't have enough information to decide whether I think it most likely was or wasn't. I'm just saying, don't be too quick to assume the worst possible motivations behind another player's actions.

(b) Why spawn at the keep they'd plan to take the scroll, instead of spawning close to continue to fight over scroll with the rest of your group? Unless you know the scroll's not going to be there. Flipside Kingscrest could have just had a 911 callout which is possible.
Common deduction dictates if they took the scroll within the last 30 seconds, they'd still have Fare and Blackboot. Of course I was not there, so I cannot say definitively that those two keeps remained unflagged. Though that is also highly unlikely, not impossible.SeaGtGruff wrote: »Nord_Raseri wrote: »(a) The closest spawn points would have been Fare or Blackboot.

I haven't seen a screenshot of what the map looked like at the time, so I have no way of knowing whether or not Faregyl and Black Boot were occupied by EP at the time and available to an EP player as respawn points. They could have been retaken by AD while EP were fighting for the scroll-- assuming that the scroll of Altadoon was actually being taken from Altadoon, and not from some other keep where it had been stashed. For all I know, EP could have been taking it from a DC keep.
Note, my NA and EU mains are blueberries, as is my NA second, and I've suffered much grief at the hands of the red army, more so than at the hands of the yellow army, so I'm not trying to defend a cheating red or anything like that.

Nope, enemies anywhere near the temple gets insta-gibbed.

Nope, enemies anywhere near the temple gets insta-gibbed.
Do you mean by players of the defending alliance, or by the NPC temple guards?
