Best non-Lokke PvE setup for StamSorc

Hey peeps! Kinda transitioning my orc stamsorc to PvE since PvP is nigh on unplayable. Instead of wasting countless hours and gold farming sets and trying builds, I thought I'd turn to the community for some expertise. Given that I don't have the Sunspire sets, what the best build I can put together? I do have maelstrom backbar bow ofc.

I have the Crag sets, like VO, AY and TFS. I also have a Relequen body set from some old farming of CR. And I can obviously get crafted gear like NMA/Hunding or PvP gear like Deadly Strikes.

Does Deadly work well with Rele if I go DW with Flurry as my spammable? I though about putting AY on front bar like old times but that doesn't buff Rele since that a proc set and don't crit. Would 2H AY front work well with NMA in a pure stat build, or would missing Minor Slayer cost too much.

Any experienced stamsorcs that have gone through trying all this out?

I think deadly is only really worth it on templar because jabs does so much damage.

For stamsorc I would pair briarheart or new moon acolyte with your relequen. If new moon would cause you to over penetrate then hundings is still good. I think 2 to 3 bloodthirsty traits is also meta but I'm not sure.

My stamSorc uses AY and Tzogvin for dungeons and it's a really nice combination.

For a trial, you'll want Minor Slayer and you can get that from Relequen or, if the fights in question aren't good for Relequen, you can use Vicious Ophidian in place of Tzogvin.

I switched to 2H from DW simply for a change of pace but found that I very much prefer it. The constant Empower from Wrecking Blow is a great bonus and you get enhanced sustain from Executioner being so cheap to use. DW is still probably better for min/maxing but the difference isn't large and you may as well play what you like.

Finally, go Selene's because it was already the best and is somehow actually getting buffed in the next patch.

I guess I should have clarified I meant for trials. I run VO + AY for dungeons. I want to see what people without lokke (or good uptime of it) run for trials though.

2H is already better for min/maxing on stamsorc, leaving all other things equal. By that I mean same sets (Rele+Lokke+Selene). It's difficult to sustain Whirling on execute range, and it does less single target damage than Executioner.

Yeah, maybe. Stamsorc has Bound Armaments, Flurry and Hurricane and these 3 put together do slightly more damage than Jabs. But the problem is that Bound Armaments are considered direct damage rather than channel/dot, and thus don't get buffed by Deadly Strikes. If they were, I'm pretty certain DW sorc would go the same way as stamplar. Ifs and buts...

Ive got a couple of Stamsorcs. One option is Relequen with Tzogvin, which works nice. Hundings is still viable, or New Moon Acolyte. Cant really go far wrong with Briarheart either, if your crit is good.

Ive also experimented with fun, but effective sets like Red Mountain and Azureblight, both of which can work.

Here are the majors sets I use for my stamsorc: Relequen, Advancing Yokeda, Automaton, Hundings, and Vicious Ophidian.

For boss fights, I tend to stick with Rele/AY.
For trash, it is usually Automaton/VO or Hundings/VO (depends on if I moved my Hundings to another toon). Ideally you will want something like Hundings/VO/Master 2h + Cleave, you just destroy trash fights with that setup.

If you want, I could post a parse of my stamsorc using Rele/AY - I hit 87k the last time I did it (which was a while ago). I use a 2H stamsorc, but there isn't that much of a difference between DW and 2H anymore, so it doesn't matter.

If I remember correctly from last PTS, aegis caller performed pretty good and fits good on a stamsorc.
