I think this game ABSOLUTELY NEEDS something like this, especially for PVP players, and the ones that does not want to waste time in Cyrodiil because its constant running to war area then zerg rush, not to mention FPS drops to bottom line.

What do you think ?

Doesn't bother me , I love Cyrodiil and I'm hardly ever in a zerg . Most of the time I spend in in Cyrodiil , my guildmates and I are hiding behind shrubs and rocks picking off stragglers .Also , other than the long loading times , I never really had fps drops . We just have to see if majority wants a battleground , will not bother me wether we get it or not .

I hope battlegrounds and arenas never touch eso - ever, in any way.
Maybe that works fine in other games, and maybe people have enjoyed them in oher games, but I would rather see zos focus on improving cyrodil.
If battlegrounds are added and you can get rewards from them, it will remove too many players from cyrodil just because of the timed nature and peoples tendancy to take the path of least resistance.

That is exactly my POINT. You already think people will choose that option over Cyrodiil because massive pvp is not always fun.

Tell me why would I have to wonder around to find other players to start a combat while I can join a queue and assigned in to an automatic group and start fighting in a small scenario immediately after I join.

You know this is a better option. You know people will attend to this option when it becomes available. So its Player preference.

And basic solution to reward system would be gaining exp and point in small battlegrounds could be only spent a specific vendor, and you can get better items in Alliance Wars if you really thing Cyrodiil should be a big deal.
I can sit down and write you a complete analysis about this but we are not the developers lol.

I just want my word and opinion to be heard by the majority and Developers, if they even check what players have to say.

No, simply because this always kills world pvp. And I really doubt Zenimax is going to destroy their premise for pvp for those who want arenas.

Cyrodiil doesn't have to be "massive PvP". If you think that's all it is, you obviously need to deviate from the herd.

really? so why does it take 10-15 mins running around to find enemy and its NEVER a even fight? we must be playing different games

Am I the only one to point out its HIGHLY likely they're going to do this?

There are bordering lands and expanded PvP built into the map, when they finally fill it out, are they going to give us boring rocks conveniently separating us from the other factions?

    I hope not.

I really hope they add smaller world PvP which is only AvA on the bordering lands between the factions.

Its highly unlikely you mean. Arena means, saying *** the world pvp in cyrodil and *** this being an elder scrolls game.

All I'm hearing is you choose mountains separating the border lands of the alliances.

Ahh in all fairness Cyrodiil failed for me hard. It was fun the first hour but later just no. Proper battle grounds and arena are the better way to go, since they will not add them any time soon the game will roll over and die. It is a shame since veteran dungeons were well made but the problem with dungeon ques and the whole system of the ques will chase players away and eventually kill the game. In all fairness I got my money worth from ESO now it is time to move to another game.

weren't there arenas in the elder scrolls games?
I think the word arena was in the title of one of them.

I also think there should be battlegrounds and arena options, but I think they should tie into the world pvp. I love the idea of a constant morphing pvp world going on while i'm there and while i sleep. however, when i'm bored and have an hour before work, I'd like to be able to jump into a cap the flag (scroll?) battle with 9 other people, or a last man/team standing arena battle with 2/4/6 people.

to keep people playing the world pvp, just make the instanced pvp rewards be access to another deeper form of alliance war tree. maybe AW gear (though i know there could be some risky ramifications), maybe just a small amount of xp for people who would rather pvp their way to 50 without the daily "kill 20 dudes" quests

I dont know all the ins and outs, I won't try and say that I do, but i do know i want an option for smaller pvp. if it is doable, that is fantastic, if not, then i will accept it and continue playing.

I'm fairly happy with the PVP that is in the game as it is. Battleground and Arenas feel utterly artificial to me. I know it's all artificial. But when you go into Cyrodiil you are working on a grand scheme. You are trying to make a dent in the world. It requires teamwork and builds community. When you do a random battleground in WoW you get teamed up with a bunch of strangers for 15 minutes, and everyone knows that it will be a new bunch of strangers they team up with in the next 15 mins, so community building is non-existing and teamwork is mainly coincedental.

Please, let's keep Cyrodiil and let other games worry about doing Arenas and 15 min-battlegrounds
