My question was whether I should buy the normal edition or the collector's edition. After having seen that the Orb of Magnus is indeed just a silly animation and no vampire concealing memento, I decided to purchase the standard edition.
I also think it is worth the base price from what I have experienced thus far. The treasure hunting system is a big point for me.

I always found it hilarious that if you look at a WoW expansion, all the dungeons are contained within it. In ESO, there's two dungeon DLCs, both with collector's editions, a chapter with collector's editions, and then another zone dlc.Why the blazes isn't that all one DLC?

I'm still going to wait and buy it on sale because I can't quite justify spending the same price as Elsweyr and Morrowind for a chapter that makes less gameplay changes than Summerset.

Pretty sure that the answer is that WoW requires a sub and ESO doesn't. You do get access to the DLCs with ESO+.
Still wavering on whether to purchase the chapter based on performance issues.

Same happened with summerset and elsewheyr too. Morrowind wasnt like that.
It it worth to buy Greymoore for a newb who did not discover base game yet with eso+ ?
I mean, does buying this chapter bring some new fatures in the basic game ?

What I see:
no worthwhile Mag. DPS set
an unplayable Cyrodiil
nerfs to old equipment to make new equipment look better
increased loading screen times
inability to log into EU server half the times I try (I usually play on NA)
skill de-syncs
a vampire skill line that no longer works for me
a werewolf skill line that is an improvement on the current state, but worse than a year ago
a whole range of combat changes that make play less fun but somehow have also hurt performance
So... pass. I still haven't found something I want to play more, but every update, I want to play this less.
