Really looking forward to the servers running smoothly after the 6 hours maintenance window, it's been a long time coming.
Things aren’t perfect, and there are issues, but overall it’s great that so many people are able to stay and play in Tamriel with their friends.
Did they say what today's maintenance is for?
I think we need to give them the benefit of the doubt. The amount of work that must be going on behind the scenes in regards to their performance plan, must be gigantic and the equivalent of potentially creating an all new engine, as they must be starting from scratch and working their way up through all of their systems that they have in place.
I like to hope that once all the work has been completed, it'll be worth the wait and frustration.

Can you point to any evidence that things are improving; that would give us reasonable hope that the issues are even being worked on?

The only performance they are interested in is their Crown Store sales chart, you know the one on the office wall linked to the bonus.

Crown store is meaningless if the game doesn't work. People will leave. The game has to be fun before the community can be shrilled and milked.
