i get quite impatient and annoyed by those constant loading screens in cyro. Is there any chance that this will ever be resolved?

Nah, abandon your hope. It sometimes take me up to 8 loading screens to ride from one fort to another, nearby. Yes, I counted) My places in cyro with most loading screens are around Bruma, and just south of Skingrad. There, loading screens can follow each other with only 2-3 seconds between them.

that means that I no longer go to cyro. A game should be fun to play and should not be annoying. Thanks for your reply.

Its actually spreading. Was mostly from Bruma north and just east of DC staring just before the resource, to just west of EP trikeeps. Then Friday, I had repetitive load screens in northern and southern high rock.

Wait. I'm not a lore nerd, but isnt this the area that borders Skyrim?

The words "resolved" and "PvP" in this game arent compatible.

Looking forward to finding a "New World" to play and enjoy.

What I find interesting is that in the northern part of Cyro, I usually also have these loading times. However, I rarely get severe lags when there are fewer players around. In the southern parts, I rarely get loading screens, but I do experience a lot of lag when no one else is around, like in Cropsford.

So I wonder if Zos have 2 different methods of dealing with how Cyro works and they somehow have both methods in Cyro at the moment. Because the difference between how different parts of Cyro work (or rather, doesn't work) is pretty different.

only 8? I envy you... sometimes I have 2-3 LS's inside keep (let's say Dragonclaw) and then 10-15 until I reach Winter outpost, last one exactly in beginning of combat with NPC's :D

Oh yeah same. Somehow around bruma loading screen is more frequent. This happened when I tried to ride from bleaker to drgonclaw.

Resolved? Sure, it will be done after there is peace on earth ....

And before this they also implemented it in Craiglorn.

They are definitely annoying but I haven't had them happen in combat at least.

    I confirm.
I also get most loading screens in the region broadly north of Chalman.
It can pretty much be reproduced by riding from Chalman to Winterkeep and it is GUARANTEED that you'll get at least a half a dozen of loading screens.
Another place which is also guaranteed even if with a much smaller frequency is Craglorn where it was successfully imported even if it didn't exist there before.

The thing I cannot understand is that because it is can be so easily and reliably reproduced, the devs should by now pretty much EXACTLY know what is the cause , yet it didn't get fixed.
Why did they leave this bug in game for a month when they should know what is causing it ?
And why did the community manager never say a word acknowledging the bug and explaining why it wasn't fixed yet ?

The Cyro loading screens are more and more common in PvE zones aswell, Craglorn in particular

It's been happening for years, so at this point I don't think it will be fixed any time soon. It happens in overland now too, not just Cyro.

Any time I ride for Bruma from DC, I get mini loadscreens every few meters for like a minute straight.
    Defo some issues there.

Good luck. Not sure how well it will go with 3 factions, 1 outpost a day each to be sieged for 1 hour each 50 0layers both sides. In theory you could defend yours 1 time, attack the others 1 each in a day of one of the other factions doesnt get one if the windows. So basically from 1-3 hours of siege warfare a day if you're so lucky to be among the 50.

Enjoy what basically amounts to quests while flagged for PVP otherwise as your only option

I do kinda wonder about that Skyrim COmment someone made... They seem to be worse up north now than they used to be - I mean more frequent - A LOT more frequent.

Also another poster - that said there are more load screens up north and more lag down south - this seems true too - idk what could be causing it...

The loading screens are actually a lot better now, but we have other major issues. When we fire skills they don’t go off. We look dumb standing there doing nothing because our skills don’t work.

My experience yesterday was that random load screens were the worst I've ever seen them. At one point yesterday I got three mini load screens while trying to dismount and enter a 1v1. After three load screens, I finally got dismounted and still had about 1/3rd health, but alas, that is not enough when the other player is not getting any load screens.

These are the things that motivate people to post on the forum about performance issues.

It's a feature of Craglorn and Wrothgar now too! Fun for everyone!
