good tactics

What are some good tactical moves for Cyrodiil?
Like taking the 2nd-last keep to cut off the keep you really want to take.
Or taking all resources in the back to cut off transportation.

What other tactics come to your mind?

Timing is more important than tactics. Knowing when to attack and defend. Learning about your enemy and predicting their next movements will allow you to be one step ahead of them at all times.

Basic Good Tactics I wish all PUGs knew:

    1. If you join a group, stick with the group. Strength in numbers.
    2. If you show up at a keep capture, either bring siege or guard the people who did. Your light attacks won't bring that wall down. Only siege weapons do that.
    3. Taking resources before you attack the keep is like waving a giant flag and screaming "We're coming to fight you!" Don't be surprised when the enemy is ready for you.

Those should be obvious basics, but it's amazing how many times my PUG teammates alert the enemy, don't have siege weapons, squirrel off to skirmish with players far away from our siege line, and then are shocked when we get demolished by an enemy guild. No, really?

Having a functional and organized group is a basis for advanced tactics and is hard but assumed for this.

Another example would be to take a town behind enemy lines and the group to teleport there with keep recall stones.

I'm looking for such examples of tactics.

Destroying a bridge or gate to keep your own keeps safe forcing the enemy to attack your enemy. Keeping the blockade up with active siege, and attacking once the enemy leaves.

This is the key tactic for players who absolutely hate pvp and appreciate targets they cannot possibly miss.

It was boring pvp, but I found it satisfying to gank those never ending milegate raids.

Destroying bridges and gates takes long and is not very fruitful. When you start shoting at the third gate, the first is already repaired.
And theres always a trail/tunnel/bridge to bypass those three.

I'm guessing experience varies depending on which server you're on. On xbox na for example destroying the bridges tends to help encourage ep and dc to actually fight each other instead of spawning and heading due south immediately.
It's funny hearing all the AD sej heads cry when they cant cross the alessia bridge though lol
