Greymoor release date clarification

Hello,

This caused a lot of confusion here:

Within the post there is an article:

But in-game Crown Store in the Chapters section and then Greymoor says "RELEASE: May 18, 2020."

What is the truth then? Is the release date 26th and they just forgot to update the information in the Crown Store?

Article dates are correct, crown store has old date.

If I may one more question please.

There is a lot of confusion in our guild saying that the 18th may is early acces for those who pre-ordered. But I keep telling them that there is no such thing as early access, only two release days, for PC 26th may and for consoles 9th june.

Is this correct?

Early access is basically PC release, so no, no Greymoor on 18th, AFAIK

Sometimes there are 2 release dates and sometimes there is one release date with 2 weeks-ish of early access for PC. If there is only one release date, you can "pre-order" during the early access. I have not seen anything this time that indicates the release date for PC as June 9th. You may need to order before the 26th to get your pre-order swag.

From what I always understood, the 2nd date is the 'real release date' and that the first, for PC, was always considered early access.... from what I was told is that Microsoft and Sony have to vet the content before it allows it to be applied. So, to not hold back the PC players, they split the dates... They 'seem' to use that 2 weeks to kinda have a unofficial beta, and try to get the fixes in before Console.

If the pre-order stuff works like previous chapters, you need to have them in place before the 26th release (for PC).
