New ways of thinking (Ability / Skills)

This is just ideas, and remains as just ideas. Greymore is just around the corner and i was thinking about if there may be something under here that can be used or opens up for more viable playstyles/builds. Maybe it`s unbalanced, but here are a few of mine ideas and looking forward to "allrighty" feedbacks.

Dragon knight:
Earthen Heart Skills

- Stonefist: Re-worked into shooting out a Green Dragonthorn, that’s do (x) damage on initial hit and deal (x) single target poisen damage over 8 seconds time effect.
“Morph 1: if the targeting enemy has not yet healed the dragonthorn within (x) amount seconds, it will proc poison-status on effected.“

“Morph 2: If the enemy has not healed poisenthorn within (x) amount seconds, it will explode and inflict (x) direct damage and proc minor berserk for 8 seconds.”
(Identity: This helps the dragonknight to reach the dragonscale theme)

- Ash Cloud skill: Eruption morph re-worked: Fire Ring deals (x) amount dmg inn AOE dmg 10-meter radius for 10 seconds over time effect that follows character. (like embershield/grothdarr). Also gain Minor Resolve and Minor Ward for 10 seconds over time. (scale from max magica) (Identity: This helps the dk to reach the dragonscale theme)

- Obsidian Shield base skill: Add stagger-effect upon activation inn radius of 5 meter, add to current setup inn both morphs. (identity: dragon stomp with foot)



Templar: Dawn's Wrath Skills

- Radionat Oppression skill: (morph) Now deals fire damage (x) single target damage over time and scales from max magica. New name on skill: Radiant of the sun. (Identity: Templar connects with the holy sun/fire-based theme)


Sorcerer: Storm calling skills

- Mages wrath (morph 2): No longer deals extra damage under 25 percent health, but instead gain 3-7 ultimate per cast/hit, while enemy target is under 25 percent.
- Morph 1 still remains as execute skill.

Sorcerer: Deadric Summoning skills

- Summon Twilight skill: Re-worked into: based on highest resourcepool will effect what type of deadric that will answer the call. Highest scale of max Stamina summons a (melee) dremora catliff or dremora curl. Highest scale of max magica summons a (ranged) dremora kyngald or dremora narkynaz. upon activation will send a pulse area damage that do (x) amount of oblivion damage over time effect for 6 seconds. (Identity: connects more with the oblivion world)


At someone this is a hard struck inn the nerve, so, remember, constructive feedback pls.

    You are adding another dot to a class that doesn't lack dots, while removing the dk heal (*** heal, but still heal) in pve ps, spikey poison dragons were never elder Scrolls thing. While I do agree that the current skill as it is doesn't feel like Dragon Knight, the one you are suggesting doesn't feel like it any more.

    While it is a nice touch, I think it will be too strong in pvp, mag dk doesn't need more melee pressure, nor does it need the nerf in pve to make it more melee than it already is.

    While stagger definitely needs a rework, currently stam dk has something it brings to the group. You sir, are trying to take it away. Much better approach would be to make stonefist melee, and then making dk get x4 of it's own stagger effect. Don't see how it adds identity btw to the shield thing, yey, shield, hits enemies. We already have spiked one that does hit enemies.

    1. Light!=fire
    2. Templar = holy != Sun
    3. Scaling from max mag only is a nerf.

    It is prone to bugs. The new ability is copy paste of the familiar. There is no f***ing reason for melee fighter's to use a f***ing daedric pet that is summoned with f***ing magic. You are again taking a class heal away.

    Pets definitely needs a rework, because currently they have much less identity of what they had before the buffs, that got followed by even more nerfs.

    Something like lower pets dmg by 20%, then add curse back to 60%, in addition lower twilight tormentor to heal bird damage, and make the ability of twilight to hit enemies above 50% health 300% stronger (for total of 400%, ends up in 1.5 times the dmg of current bird, before curse buff).
    If they make sorc reverse execute then do it instead of being not sure about life.


    TL;DR making bad skills from bad skills doesn't make them good.

    Ok, i see plenty that you comment is worth looking more inn to, I agree to lot of that u mention and some other statements not. Total agree on that pets need rework. I don qo quote all, or it will fill up whole screen.

    For example; Under radient, you mention that (number 3) that its a nerf, would it be better its scale from offensive stats then?

    This was just something that i throw out inn the air, but some of that i wrote was written for some time ago, stilly i quess, but i choose to add it inn anyway.

    But I liked the other things u added about pvp-related stuff.

    Woah. So you summon a creature that your opponent has to keep alive because it deals damage upon death? That's... actually really cool. Only problem though is it's an absolute noob killer as new players would have no idea why they were dying, that's like complicated dungeon mechanics there. I also think the morphs are similar leading to one of them (minor berserk) being the clear choice. But very cool concept though. Unless I'm just completely misunderstanding your meaning (idk).
