My wife and I have been playing ESO for about 5 years now. Neither of us has been especially proficient at doing the harder content; quite the contrary, we both have struggled with anything harder than public dungeon bosses. Both of our mains happen to be stamblades. Over the years I have adjusted my build based on comments I've read here on the forums. But until now I have never copied a build from any of the many websites dedicated to ESO. For some reason, I always felt that copying a build was somehow "cheating." Weird, I know....
Anyway, I recently went to AlcastHQ and changed my build to the solo stamblade with the gear 2 setup. I chose this setup because the vast majority of my gameplay is solo PVE, and I happened to already have most of the recommended gear for this setup. Imagine my surprise when I found that I could now solo world bosses and even some dungeons. My wife saw how much better I was doing, so she changed her build the same way. Now we've started doing some dungeons as a duo that we could never do before.
I still consider myself a high-level scrub, but I am feeling much better about my performance. Now I guess I will have to look at some new builds for my other characters. Maybe one day I will even learn to like my dragon knights, which has always been my least favorite class (even though I have three of them!).
