Does anyone know of any empty book shelves that the lore books can fit into without melting into the furniture? I'm collecting them and trying to find a way to place them.
~ Cheers
i made a small libary and i placed a lot of the guild books in it, i used the empty murkmire shelves as well as the dark elf shelf (vanilla De not morrowind) they fit quite well placed upright and can still be read.
I haven't found a craftable bookcase that I was satisfied with putting the lore books in. The books are too tall for the shelves. However, if you have Elsweyr and the Hall of the Lunar Champion, the wing called "Moongrave Fane" has a room where a great library can go. It's a smallish room lined with bookshelves, and those tall lore books fit perfectly into the shelves. There is room for a few hundred books. It's the wing you unlock by running the Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane dungeons. I'm not in the game right now to verify this, but if I remember correctly it's the wing you get to through the portal on the right-hand side if you're facing inward as though you just entered the house. Once you're through the portal the library room will be through a doorway on the right. Maybe that library room will meet your needs until, hopefully, we get some craftable bookshelves that the lore books fit in.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I did some hunting around and found the "Dark Elf Bookcase, Sectioned" works out exceptionally well, you can stand the books upright as you would normally do so with any bookcase.
It also looks great and will complement how the library will look when its completed.
