Hello everyone,
I had several questions as it relates to gear sets, specifically False Gods Devotion on my Magicka Necromancer. I am curious if running the NORMAL false gods set is better than running something like elemental succession as a body set.
For Refrence:
Ele Succession:
2 items) Adds 1096 Max Magicka
(3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 1096 Max Magicka
(5 items) Whenever you deal Flame, Shock, or Frost Damage, you gain 550 Spell Damage for that element for 4 seconds. This effect can occur every 4 seconds per element. You can have multiple different elemental buffs active simultaneously.
False Gods Non Perfected
(2 items) Adds 833 Spell Critical
(3 item) Gain Minor Slayer at all times, increasing your damage done to Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
(4 items) Adds 833 Spell Critical
(5 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) Reduces the cost of your Magicka abilities by 8%. When you kill an enemy, you restore 2150 Magicka and gain Major Expedition for 8 seconds, increasing your Movement Speed by 30%
Reason I ask, based on my parse results on a 21 mil dummy (For context the parse was 60k, 500 cp, Llambris Monster Helm, MS Front Bar, VMA Lightning Staff Back bar......51 VMA clears no inferno staff QQ)
I had 95% Lightning 85% inferno, 84% frost uptime regularly on multiple parses for the ele succession buff giving me essentially 550 spell damage for on average 90% of the time. Is the Minor Slayer from FG better than the 90% 500 spell damage PLUS the 2k Max Magica from Ele Succession? Would it even be better than the PERFECTED version which only gives essentially 1k addl max mag if sustain is not an issue? I have no problem sustaining in a trial environment. Also, I assume the lightning wall is causing a high uptime on the lightning proc, so is having a back bar lightning VMA staff actually worthwhile in this scenario?
The last issue is related to Greymoor and Llambris. If you don't know, they are making big changes to the set: FROM PTS NOTES
Ilambris:
Increased the damage done from each meteor shower to 2015, up from 1170. You can no longer layer each meteor shower.
Increased the proc chance to 33%.
Fixed an issue where this set was triggering other proc sets.
Fixed an issue where this set’s Fire Damage was not extended by Elf Bane.
Is Llambris currently synergizing with Ele Succession causing extremely high proc rates i.e the meteors essentially proccing ele succession, and if so, will these changes drastically hurt running Ele succession and Llambris together?
I know that's a lot, and I could have a bunch of errors or assumptions in here which is why I am asking the communities help on this! Im relatively new to the end game scene in ESO anyway and just trying to sort out my builds and gear!
Thanks everyone!
