If your Ignore list is Full from Gold Sellers

Chances are you are safe to delete the accounts listed. They have more than likely been banned and are running under a new accounts now. And once those get banned - it's an ongoing cycle. Feel free to delete them.

I've deleted mine numerous times for that very reason, then it steadily fills up again.

If you ever ignore an actual player for a reason - be sure and use the "note" feature so you can keep that person on ignore. I have a guy that cheated someone for 40k gold on a werewolf bite on mine, and plan to keep him there.

Hope that helps!
I didn't think my hangover was that bad this morning until I spent 10 minutes trying to log into my old Etch-A-Sketch

Yes, I've been working on the assumption that once reported, there's no reason why the account shouldn't have been banned within a couple of days. Not hard to check the validity of the reports being made for gold selling.

active gold sellers has an short half life pretty safe to remove ban.

Hopefully we get some mods soon who networks this, if you are reported for spam 2-3 times you are blocked from all using the mod.
Perfectly the mod would then gather zone chat from target and submit in an separate report to ZOS.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

As for me, zone is default off unless playing at night.
to much uninteresting who make guild chat hard to read.

Yeah, I just shut /zone chat off completely on all my characters, too. Now it feels much more like a single player game. The Old Republic really did, too...and we can all see how that turned out, subscription-wise. >:)

I sure hope Zenimax gets their act together soon. Why haven't they hired one of the chat-mod-makers already, since they can't seem to get rid of gold farmers themselves?

There are several very good anti-spam addons out there. They get updated regularly and do not add to your /ignore list. I even add words to the filter like wtt, wtb, wts, guilda, guilden and so on, so that I don't have to see trade chat and non-English guilds advertising. The beauty is those players aren't on /ignore, so if they make a post without the filtered words in their chat, I still get to see their message.

I'm all for reporting a gold seller once, but after that it's pointless seeing the same gold spam and reporting it again. Zenimax already know. :)

I turn zone chat off unless i'm in PvP .... and sometimes that's painful to read. My ignore list takes a beating as well as my character there.

Gold sellers have multiple accounts that need to be reported/banned separately(even if they use exactly the same gold spam message). To make sure i do not report the same gold spammer account again, i first put it on ignore, then report it.
