Maintenance for the week of April 29:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 29

vMoS does not grant you 2 of the 4 achieves required for the Beast Personality

AngeredPally
AngeredPally
Soul Shriven
vet March of Sacrifices will not grant you Survival of the Fittest (no death) or Pure Instinct (speedrun) if you complete them.
Speedrun was cleared 3 times over while nodeath was cleared twice, and neither achievement was ticked off.
The Hardmode however was completed successfully, so I dunno what's going on here.
We tried clearing all the packs as well, still nothing.

It eventually worked after we slaughtered every single mob in the instance and didn't take the portal in the beginning and jumped down instead.

    So

In most DLC dungeons you have to clear every single mob and boss to unlock this achievements. So make sure to check the map carefully :)

Defeat all encounters in addition to the Wyrd Sisters, Aghaedh of the Solstice, Dagrund the Bulky, Tarcyr, and Balorgh in Veteran March of Sacrifices without suffering a group member death.

^This. If you miss a single mob pack you won't get the achiev.

Nearly missed the triple achievement in Moonhunter Keep because of 1 wolf. Thankfully killing them after the final boss still counted. These 2 dungeons especially make it very easy to miss a mob.

I'm currently going for the same achievements. Do my group really have to kill every single mob in the instance? That seems pretty odd. "Defeat all encounters" doesn't mean that you have to kill everything you aggro, but can bypass mobs that are not looking at you? I thought this was done to prevent groups from dying and skipping through without having to deal with the mobs, as many do in older dungeons.

Some Dungeons require that, yes. Who knows, what's the reason. Maybe to make speedruns or no deaths a bit more challenging. In many dungeons it's not a real issue, because all encounters are on your way. But there are some off-way or in rooms, where you usually don't check.

But don't forget, that you always can go back (also after the final boss) and clear all remaining ones.

It's also always written on the achievement, if you need to clear all encounters or just the bosses.

We thought we killed every single mob and defeated the final boss in HM, but we didnt get the achievement. So we went back to double check and there was a NIGHTBLADE enemy npc in STEALTH that we found by accident when a buddy of mine just happened to cast an aoe damage ability. That was incredibly frustrating and the implication that you would have to find an invisible/stealthed enemy to get the achievement is ridiculous. This enemy must have been a part if a mob pull we had earlier, but then went into stealth and we thought we cleared the trash mob pull.
