any reason this set still has a proc chance of 50%? why so and how was this even thought as a good idea from the start? It was already weaker comparing to Olorime because of the higher duration and ease of application. But i prefer SPC because i like more the 2-4 set bonuses. I don't have hopes to have its duration increased to 20-30 seconds like Olorime, but at least instead of the unreasonable 50% proc chance make it "when you heal a target that is already at full health, grant it Major Courage for 10 seconds".

Just use olo pve, pvp spc can be good but in every way it beats spc.

I also cant believe you think 50% is unreasonable. As a healer you should be able to tick 3-4 heals every second, whenever I used SPC it felt a lot more like 100%.

SPC was a great set at the time it was made. It was meta for how many years?? When it came out it wasn't compared to Olorime at all because it wasn't even a set then.

SPC came out with Imperial City in mid-2015.
Olorime was added with Summerset in 2018, almost three years later.

It's not that I would see an issue with giving it a guaranteed proc, but I don't think it would change anything. Even with the 50% chance it proccs basically instantly, due to the amount of healing ticks provided by most common builds. I think all it's other weaknesses in comparison with Olorime are what's really holding it back. I agree that it's offensive stats can be a benefit, but I don't think that it's proccing conditions are an issue in the kind of content you would use the set over Olorime for it's offensive stats.

You might one day get your wish. ZoS did say they wanted to move sets away from % proc RNG chances.

Then again in that same patch they added % proc RNG chances instead of removing them. So who knows.

The main problem of SPC is that only 6 random people including pets and NPCs can have it up at once.

i don't have a problem with the proc chance, i think you as well as everyone else didn't understand my question. Why does it have the proc chance? what use has this proc chance why is there a 50% chance for it to proc? to what use, and how was this considered a good idea from the start, based on what?

i know i was talking about the reason to why it has a proc chance.

i've heard this rumor too but just go to any crowded place like a bank or something and it will give everyone there the bonus, it's not capped at 6 targets.
