New to this, I'd especially appreciate some insight from AFK-pro wardens

Thanks in advance

You shouldn't leave your bear, what are you thinking?
You become responsible, forever, for what you have summoned.

Yeah, I hate that. I always desummon my pets when doing writs, both on my warden and my sorc. It's just a common courtesy, plus they annoy me too. Just press c (or whatever you have assigned to your character tab) and then right click on the effects in your sheet bottom (sorry, I don't know how it works on consoles since I play on PC, obviously). It's not that hard and summoning your pets back afterwards takes no time and costs nothing. This is really L2P and maybe learn to behave issue.

Pfft. Wardens are novices with their measly one pet. Pro-afk players are sorcs. With practice and skill, we can assign two pets to block both a pledge-giver and a writ delivery box. ;)

I would like to add on top of the crafting-writ delivery boxes in Vivec specifically. A half dozen of us yelling in zone chat at one or two one afk folks a day to "move bear please" is part of my daily rounds. :p

Worse thing is that they deliver the writs then just strand there with their pets on the boxes. Would be ok if they just delivered and moved on but no, for some reason they stay there...

Alinor one might be better for you.

Sometimes, bear even moves to the opposite side of the river, as you deliver writs, rather than blocking the boxes.

Just be a decent person and switch off the bear/other combat pets before you go into town. Easy to do.

Off the topic slightly, but I am really hating it when do a trial & sorc has big flappy one out as somehow it always gets in my way & blocks my view. Even if move! Do they know I dislike them and so decide to tease me?!

That's where I turn in when the Vivec boxes are blocked! :D I used to have about half of my crafters there (Summerset holds a special place in my heart) but the convenience of the Vivec bank is hard to beat.

Pretty much on daily basis
I wonder how hard it would make an option to hide the pets in town. Those whom want to see the flippyflappywings could so and others wont. Win-win. The daily quest trollers would get mad though.

Though I voted for the box, a truly skilled crafter can deposit writ items under the bear's arse without missing a beat.

Having stood and watched some of the "players" that are seemingly afk while, mounted, are parked on a craft writ delivery box for long periods of time, I noticed that they rotate a few degrees consistently to avoid timing out. It lead me to believe that these characters are some sort of troll bot planted either to annoy or as part of some Chinese communist psychology experiment to ascertain the viability of eso players to do repetitive tasks while big brother is watching--or both. (Testing my hypothesis that Chinese shareholders hold a majority of ZOS stocks, and thus we know who is really calling the shots- hence the eternal unfixable lag and substandard quality). Either way, I doubt there is any player actively playing these type of planted annoyances. Don't waste your time interacting with them, there's nobody home.

If you don't believe me, and have nothing better to do, stand there and watch for yourself. See how long it takes for one of them to time out. If you never hear from me again, tell my family I love them and we now know the real truth.

Actully this reminds me of a person who placed his bear right in front of Berda during new life festival and people were unable to interact her

If you can't make it to the crafting writ boxes, the banker (Vivec is best) is also a valid place to leave your bear.

Put an arrow through it's skull, skin it and hang its pelt over your fireplace, it's claws also make a nice necklace fashion accessory.
