I miss my old 2h/dw stamdk. It was a bleed build before bleeds changed. It was still great during the dot meta. Lost the resistance negating from bleeds but the damage from bleeds and the dk dots being buffed more than made up for that. Now running 2h/s&b but I'm probably gimping myself by not running Fury with leap on FB and S&B ult on BB. Always like the 2h ult even when it wasn't that great.

Especially BRP dual wield makes 2H/dual wield viable. You have about 18 more hours for that build before its nerfed!

its viable, but not easy because u want a back bar to turtle up. DK is really good at turtling up... without a defensive back bar, u will die. a lot.

that's why BRP DW is what u want as its arguably the best defensive stam weapon in the game.

Yeah all my characters are melee also. For example, my original character is a StamDK. When they took away wings, I stopped using it. It will be interesting to compare how often major protection goes off now. Five meters isn't that much.

You'll be able to see in combat metrics by comparing the number of times quick cloak goes off to the number of times you got major protection. Currently this is exactly the same, its on demand. Usually my quick cloak does very little damage, it will miss people due to lag, compared to major protection always going off regardless-- I predict it will be a major nerf and you'll only get major protection ~50% of the time you use quick cloak. But we'll see

DW good if your grouping, but you'll neer to do alot of dodge roll for it to be viable.
