Since Baulders gate iv wanted a bard to play in wow, gw, etc.
I came to eso and asked "if we had a bard to play instruments"
and i got kicked / banned from discord after asking.

Today i was in guild hall waiting for amy guildie who was hiding in there, and then just started to /flute
and i was like......
......
.........
....
...........

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?!?!?!!? (think its an item)
then i typed /flute to see, AND IT WAS THERE?!?!?!!!
and he told me /lute and /drum
and i fell out of my chair crying out of happiness.

So now the serious question.

HOW IS THIS NOT IN THE COLLECTIONS BOOK? AND HOW COME YOU HAVE NOT MONETIZED THIS?!

    The collections emotes are actually pay to get or unlocked ones they started monetizing them sometime after the introduction of the crown store and then started putting most collection emotes in crown crates The lute and flute and drums are base game and have been there from the start from what I understand. Thus they are not in collections because of this and there is an emote list you can look up to tell you what emotes there are base game. You can find this on the Uesp site.

    Next crowncrate will have a play a little miniature violin going by the datamine . There was an instrument emote added last year in one of the crown crates that is very nice as well.
    Yeah each crown crate seems to have a few new emotes one can get.

    You should really check out the Help section of the menu and see what emotes there are.

    There's even an addon that I think synchronized different players that are playing instruments at the same time so it sounds like they are playing together.

    You couldn't develop your way to a list of emotes?

    BTW you seem to attract relatively negative reaction in the forums and on Discord. Maybe look at how you express your ideas for/about the game, considering TES is a series that has a couple of decades of games and lore under its belt.

    No, there's enough monetization. I almost lament any new feature because I know there'll be more crown offerings instead of earning it in game.

    I would thought that as smart as you told us all you are in previous threads, you would know that there are over 185 base game emotes available. Here, I will link a thread for you....Google and such, you know... :)

    Now to the next thing. You mentioned, though deleted now, about how lore doesn't matter.
    Wrong answer when talking about anything Elder Scrolls here.
    You misjudge the player base here. Lore is the major thing to a TES gamer and has been since 1994.
    Lore is what built TES, Warcraft, etc. Without it you should just play Mario.

    Lore did not build wow, not even close. EQ was far superior in lore to wow, and look at it now. Its no where near what wow is. Wow is superior because it caters to casual players, a business move made by a genius ceo. That is what made wow.

    Lore does not matter as much as you think. i bet if zos had tracked the "how fast to people click the next button" you'd come up with a shocking statistic that says something like "with in 2 seconds". So give me a break about "omg, im a role play, brah".

    Could be - I have 14 characters on PC EU and 4 on PC NA - I will certainly not listen to the same conversation 18 times. But that doesn't mean, i wouldn't have followed the story with the first few characters doing these quests. So in a statistic I would as well count to those rarely taking care of the story - but this is just due to the many characters.

    WoW was built from Warcraft which were of the real-time strategy genre and dependent on storyline i.e lore to "create" their world and have a basis of continuation for future games.
    The lore of TES is as deep and involved as Tolkien, Brooks or Morecock. To pass up and ignore this aspect of games is your choice and your loss.
    Now, you confuse me as a "role player", which I kinda am I guess. I do not do "RP" in game, but I embrace the lore of TES and have for almost 20 years. If D&D had no lore, it wouldn't have existed, and we would have no RPG games, as Gygox kinda started the gaming aspect of "High Fantasy".
    It's cool that you don't do lore, but realize as far as Elder Scrolls, lore is very important.
