The future of the Skyrim area

I guess I am in the minority, but I am majorly disappointed by the size of West Skyrim. Yes I am aware there's Blackreach, but still. When I hear western Skyrim, I think western Skryrim, not jogging-like radius around Solitude (if I exaggerate a lot).

I'm sure we will get more of it, but will it be a completely new zone? I feel like doing this really kills the immersion (I hate using that word, but it's the most fitting). Can the zone be expanded instead of releasing more of the area as a standalone zone, like was done with say, Southern Elsweyr?
Of course there are technical limitations to the sizes of zones, but really, Skyrim divided in several zones, that's so weird.

And bottom line is, will we even get the entire Skyrim at some point? If chapters last one year, there's no way in hell we'd get anything more than one more zone from that part of the world, leaving huge gap between the old and the new zones. Most people love Skyrim and I bet I'm far from minority in wanting to have as full Skyrim experience as possible...

The Reach (far Southwestern Skyrim) is being planned for the Q4 DLC release, @Octopuss.

Remember that Markarth does not exist 1,000 years before ESV:Skyrim ... but the Dwemer ruins (among other familiar features) would likely still be there.

I think Western Skyrim is small so that some time in the years to come there can be a Chapter based around Whiterun and Dawnstar.

Actually, it seems as though Markarth does indeed exist in the time of ESO. There are multiple references to it in quests/dialogue on the PTS.

The Despot of Markarth & the King of WormsEdit
During the Interregnum, the city-state of Markarth was captured by the local Reachmen, led by an unknown figure given the name, the Despot of Markarth. Markarth became the seat of power for an independent kingdom of Skyrim, amidst the Schism between West Skyrim and the Old Holds. The Despot had issued a dictatorship all across the Reach, even communing with the Daedra and even powerful figures such as Mannimarco and House Tharn. The Despot and the people of Markarth worshipped Hircine, the Daedric Prince of the Hunt. Circa 2E 581, an Imperial Envoy-Escort named Flaccus Terentius was commissioned by Abnur Tharn to document the provinces of Tamriel, and he stumbled onto Markarth, where he was imprisoned in Nchuand-Zel. Before he was sacrificed by Mannimarco, Vanus Galerion had appeared before them, battling the King of Worms and escaping with Terentius to Eastern Skyrim. Markarth continued to be ruled by the Despot for an unknown time. The Despot, along with the King of Worms and House Tharn played a large part in the Planemeld of 2E 582.[9]
So Markath exists and have been mentioned even prior to Greymoor. Thought I remembered it from the Bangkorai storyline.

    This will make future content...
There is still Whiterun for the western kingdom (Falkreath is a dungeon). The rest belong to the eastern kingdom.
