However, it's still crap. Bosmer are supposed to be stealthy. They are supposed to be THE BEST thieving race, not freaking GUARDS. The detection skill is entirely useless outside of PVP and insanely weak even in PVP. It is a garbage skill.

Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.
I still can’t believe they have not addressed this. The lack of stealth in Bosmers and the whole lack of “more stealth options” in general is just embarrassing at this point.
The topic criticizing the change is one of the biggest topics on this forum. And not a thing has been done. The bosmer racial passive of stealth detection was proven to be a handicap! A stealthed player detects a stealthed bosmer is close because of their eye icon starting to open.
TBH, I'd be okay with them not doing anything about Bosmer stealth. Stealth just seems to be a stat that doesn't really come heavily into play in anything but PVP, and even then, the decreased detection radius is small compared to other bonuses.
Rather than focus on stealth passives, I'd really like them to rework the passive that grants additional armor penetration after doing a dodge roll. I think that is rather silly bonus that doesn't really amount to anything. I think it would make far more sense to give Bosmers an extra 2500 armor penetration when a bow is equipped. In the lore, Bosmers are some of the best archers of all of Tamriel so it makes sense for them to be more proficient (and do more damage) with bows. Their other passives would synergize well with stam/bow play.
Just give up. Us bosmer are only good for role play and zos ain't gonna change that
At the rate these devs are going all of ESO is only going to be good for role play soon enough. ESO is the only game that I play where I can expect issues logging in to the game, numerous glitches while playing the game, and performance issues so serious that I may not be able to play at all...
