I've been away from this game for almost a year playing other games while working and dealing with life. In that time I've thought about coming back a few times but I would always read these forums first and it would deter me from coming back to the game and I now know this was my biggest mistake, why?
Often peoples opinions about the game are misguided due to instant rage posting due to a bad time in battlegrounds or a death they think shouldn't have happened without looking at what they did wrong or why this happened.
People complain about change because they dont like change when change is the most healthy thing you can do for your mind in keeping things fresh. Yet people still get stuck in old ways instead of moving forwards as evident in alot of complaint posts when change in this game comes around.
Alot of gamers are just bitter and angry in life because as much as we all love gaming, getting outside, hanging with friends, going to work and self sustaining yourself are very rewarding. You can still dedicate gaming time as well as doing these other things. When you do these things more, changes in games become less trivial because you have more in your life than just a game which is probably making you miserable and bringing it to these forums.
Everyone feels entitled to share what they dont like about this game, you forget about all the good this game has to offer. While stating an opinion for what you don't like is fine most posts dont offer a solution, it just comes off like a self entitled complaint.
So three weeks ago I started playing again, I didnt read these forums for a good couple months and I just started up the game and wow did I forget how truly awesome this game is. Does it have its problems? Yes, every game does but it's good qualities far outweighs its bad qualities and by reading these forums you will forget that.
So to anyone returning for Greymoor, this game is good dont let these forums tell you otherwise. Go back and play and form your own opinion.
See you in Tamriel.
