dungeons/delves/dimensions only accessible after doing a quest to open it should be instanced

I noticed sometimes I'm doing quests to unlock/access some cave or dungeon or even some different realm, and it's supposed to be some ancient or undiscovered place or somewhere people haven't access in a long time.

But then all the sudden I see a bunch of other players kinda bunny hoppin around and doing stuff. And in my head I'm like, "huh? Did you also discover the 5 pieces of the ancient sundial to open this tomb that hasn't been opened in 1,000 years?" Maybe I'm too much of a nerd but this can break my immersion sometimes.

So I hope in the future you guys can kinda customize which places are instanced and which are public:) I just want things to make sense according to how it is in the story.

I am afraid that this is impossible on a large scale in an MMORPG, because almost all such places would have to be instanced to a solo player.

It's not impossible, but it has to be designed that way from the ground up. DDO has been doing it for all of it's 11 years. Even wilderness areas are instanced. @Watchdog

Alright, I guess if a game is designed so from the get go, it might work. ESO is not that type of a game. Seeing others and helping one another is a part of the game design.

I'm not even asking this for most things. I would say maybe like 1 or 2 extra quests per zone should incorporate this. Like if you teleport to some crazy realm to kill some nightmare thing, it should be instanced. If you do some quest to activate some magical door to some ancient temple, you shouldn't see other players already in the dungeon you supposedly just opened for the first time in generations. Seems kinda self explanatory to me.
