Dungeon Buff Duration

I suggest increasing the duration of some buffs in dungeons to 60 minutes.
Specifically this buff https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Major+Resolve and maybe some others
This will only work inside the dungeons. (party find).
When changing the panel, the buff disappears from all who received it. (need to cast again)

what's the point of using this buff every 21 seconds?
This is despite the fact that in the standard interface there is no display of buffs, you can judge a buff only by the animation on the character.
In a battle where everything explodes and shines, it’s very difficult to keep track of it.

Would rather they made buffs a toggle that keeps working even after bar swapping, draining X amount of resources per second rather than a large cost every so many seconds only deactivating if you run dry of resources or you toggle them off again.

What's the point of reapplying a DOT each time it runs out? Might as well just klick it and let it run until the fight is over.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

I do not see the connection between the buff and the dot s

the meaning of playing the piano is lost.
You need 10 and sometimes 15 skills to maintain a normal DPS, which is actually not provided for by the basic capabilities without changing the interface through adons.

It's not that hard to find a connection. Each one is a temporary effect that requires an upkeep to be useful. Pressing a button every once in a while that applies a DOT to a target is nothig different than pressing a button that applies a useful effect to your group. It adds a bit of complexity to battles, becaue it is one more thing that the player needs to pay attention to rather than spamming one button.

Actually the standard interface allows for buff and debuff timers, you just have to turn them on in the settings. As for the 60 minute thing, no I prefer things to be more interactive.

you misunderstood. If I wanted to discuss the duration of DOT, I would create a topic about DOT.

and since I have never seen a Dot build that would be more effective than a build with instant damage or an auto attack, I just don’t want to discuss Dot here.

To have different and active combat.
Kinda same reason there is only 12 slots where as most mmo you can have hundred.

Experienced players have it tied to part of rotation (Not on each cycle but for example one cycle takes x time so you can time it to be somewhere instead of y ability) so it is "automated" even without timers.

well ok, do you want to hear why DOT in this game will never be better than instant damage? They can be only as an addition, but not the main damage.
That's because there are no stats that increase the speed of the tick dot, the time of the dot, changing the mechanics of the dot, etc.
No haste, no attack speed, no cast haste.
Yes, you do not like the wow, but you all dragged adons from the hated you wow, and dps are measured why ?

Greetings! We've removed some posts from this thread as they violated our rules on baiting.

It’s okay and very normal to disagree with others, and even to debate, but provoking conflict, baiting, inciting, mocking, etc. is never acceptable in the official ESO community.

OP you can switch on a buff tracker in your settings. It's part of the game now
"If a stick of fish is a fish stick, it will stick like other fish sticks stick"
"Taller races now sit in chairs correctly"
