Desperate: need help with destro staff nightblade!

I'd like to expand on this a little bit. Nothing wrong with the suggestion.

In addition to granting empower to your ults, do the same thing when your Assassin's Will procs (Merciless Resolve). You can use any Mage Guild skill to empower, entropy being one of them, but Shooting Star will also grant empower.

I've always found Entropy to be a pain. There's nothing wrong with using it; rather, I personally don't like it, because the DoT itself is rather weak, the Major Sorcery can be obtained elsewhere, so the real reason for using it basically is empower. If you're running Inner Light on your bar (for the 7% max magicka), you can cast this to grant empower instead. Major Sorcery can be obtained either through potions, Sap Essence, or any DK in your group running Igneous Weapons.

Should you choose to get rid of entropy, it makes room on your bar for Wall of Elements, which is a stronger DoT, and far superior if you have a vMA destro.

@Draganta - I do a lot of PVE with my NB,

My setup is as follows..

Destro Bar
Funnel Health,
Elemental Blockade,
Merciless resolve,
Crippling Grasp,
Inner light,
U - Soul assault

Dual Wield
Sap Essence
Impale
Siphoning Attacks
Harness Magicka/Twisting Path,
Magicka Detonation
U - Soul Tether

While levelling alone i did slot the healing staff with healing ward and rapid regen,
I would swop out dual wield and put these in the twisting path and impale slots..

your rotation is not right,

Merciless resolve>> Cripple>>elemental blockade>>Funnel Health>> med Attack>>Funnel Health>>Med Attack till bow procs....

Merciless goes greyish when proccs and you need to AIM at an enemy before it can be released...

Re-apply cripple'& elemental blockade and continue funnel/med weave...

dual wield is for mobs
Typically i start on my dual wield,
siphoning attacks, detonation, swap, merciless resolve, elemental blockade, swap,MASH sap essence button till detonation explodes... and soulthether when it is ready.

re-apply dots when they expire.

For aoe you might wanna take a look at putting Force Pulse on your first bar there, you put down Blockade and spam a few Force Pulses and you are seeing nothing but red damage numbers everywhere, assuming you have the passive elemental force maxed out.

My first bar is strictly AOE, in which case crippling grasp is basically useless compared to the output of Force Pulse.

I just switched my Nightblade to Magicka from stamina, got him a couple great destruction staffs, but when he fights and he points them at enemy and I click the attack, nothing happens (like it does for all my other guys using staffs). Same happened when I had daggers on him, I'd click to attack and nothing

What is wrong?

Okay, nevermind, I figured it out! I guess all I had to do was post here. Somehow his attack keybind was lost, and it was "unassinged." I've fixed it and now finally it works.
