necessary BG improvement

BGs need the following improvements/additions:

1: as there is under lvl 50 queue, there should be one for lvl 50 cp 0 to cp159. Sure BGs have CP turned off, but gear scaling is not in effect. Or for that matter, scale their gear in BGs to cp 160 until they reach it and dont implement that queue. However, no mater the case, those people should be able to play on their level, instead of being heartlessly trashed on.

2: CP160+ BGs should have a MMR implemented, also that MMR should be based off character, not account. reason is that you might level new class, dont know how to play/build it and will suck and no reason to be playing with high MMR people until you get better/ build better. - as of right now, every BG is a steam roll by 1 team, very rare you see 2 teams evenly competing, and most BGs 1 team is heavily trashed on. it's simply not fun to play like that.

3: There should be a Separate, competitive BGs queue, with certain rewards BUT team play. where are preset teams of friends and guildies could compete for titles, cosmetics and prestige.

4: Lastly a BG queue where CP is turned on.

There isn't a single point I won't contradict here, everything is both necessary and well thought.

1: I've also previously said that the lower level BGs should have gear scaling. Twinked out characters turn it into a total cesspool, and may very well be discouraging new players from continuing to PvP. Take away the OP crutches, and force those twinks to either have roughly equal stats, or graduate to the big boys and stop being so advantaged against legit newbies.

2: There is MMR in max level BGs, and it certainly seems to be character-based. ZOS has left us mostly in the dark on exactly how MMR works, and it may very well have changed somewhat over time. After the most recent major patch reset everyone's MMR, games have very much been a mixed bag. That might be because MMR is still working on getting settled, or it might be because some fundamental changes were made behind the scenes.

I've said in the past that it might be a better system to not keep various MMR brackets totally separate from each other, but to instead mix them up and use MMR to distribute players to each team (at least in part to combat stupidly long queue times). That kinda-sorta feels like what they've done, but I do also see some games that are mostly filled with high MMR players, so exactly how it actually works is still kind of up in the air.

3: Lots of us have wanted something like that for a long time, but it would require a bit of balancing (and necessitate having only 2 teams for the more competitive queue).

4: CP-enabled BGs were pretty bad when they tried them ~2 years ago. It makes it way too easy to cover up for shortcomings in build and/or playing ability.

    1) I think 2 ques are fine but the buffed low level stats should last until you are 160cp rather than 50.

    2) I thought it is not account based mmr? But I do think you should go up and down mmr not just stay high tier once you get there. If you have bad matches you should lose ranks.

    3) perfect. In group play you should be allowed to que solo or with friends

    4) no please no cp in BG. Nothing about cp PVP is fast and people would never die especially in full pre made matches.

(Lastly I will add as well that until you hit cp ranks your gear can not scale above green and it should not allow psijic, fighters guild, or mages guild moves ad It can create an unfair advantage to new players. Vets will always run wild knowing how to get them ect and it really turns low levels away. I know people that brag about having gold gear every 4 levels and re roll a toon every time they hit vet ranks. This would force them out if low level and to play with the big boys.)

    2. Yes, I'm 95% certain it's character based.

    4. Agreed. Also, splitting the BG population further would be a bad idea.

Ps4 Europe has already low population that want to play battlegrounds, if you split the system in more queues it will kill bg, no-one will ever actually queue.
