Loooong dungeon Q's normal?

Recently hit 50, I'm new to the game only been playing a couple weeks, not Qing for veteran dungeons just normal and I'm legit at 59 minutes in Q. Regular? Is game dead? wat is happeningggg at lower lvls they were never that long, 15-7 minutes tops

Some people are saying the group finder is occasionally broken. Hard to say what's going on to be honest. Especially when it's not broken all the time.
I've been in full groups and we selected a specific dungeon... and it still didn't put us in it.

It has been off and on broken. I waited once quite recently for an hour combined across 2 tanks for the daily undaunted pledge dungeon before giving up in disgust. If that's not a sign something's broken, nothing is.

It hardly ever seemed broken to me... I think the long queue's are because without the event, there are less tanks. Making dps queue's skyrocket.

During the anniversary event, while tanking, I noticed over half the groups I got put in were half completed/failed runs.

For me its has been broken for a week or so, I was leveling Undaunted on a new char and even if you have a 4-man group queuing for a random normal didnt work instantly. After a couple tries I got it to work but normally it works instantly if you're already grouped up.

I think that there is a shortage of healers lately too. All my characters are tanks, so there is a small delay sometimes.

One bug at the moment is when finding a replacement player if someone drops out. We lost a dps a couple of days ago, and had to wait several minutes for a replacement for the vet pledge that day. We did get one eventually, and we carried on until they joined.

Only unsocial people and DD queues so that will create long queue.

Good tanks and healers learn they don't have to suffer pugs, so they don't use tool. So automated tool has mostly bad dd and some people are learning to tank/heal but mostly just fakes along with bad people who no one wants to group with outside tool.

Sadly more popular MMO becomes, worse automated grouping tools become. I am actually curious has anyone made some study about this phenomenon.

there are reasons why people queueing as healer/tank to get faster queues...

If you que as a dps in a select normal dungeon that is not a pledge expect very long que times....
On a pledge day it would shorten it I'm sure
Random vets often take less time than random normal but you still should que in about 15 minutes as a dps.
Really if you want a select dungeon on a non pledge day try to form a group through zones or guilds...

Yes it's weird, it seems that a few weeks ago something was adjusted resulting in far longer and erratic queue times.

Normally I play healer and nowadays queues have gotten lot longer, even for pledges, often over 10-15 minutes.
Before that it was 5 mins tops

Two strange things:
1. When I quit the queue and re-queue I often get a direct match and can enter the dungeon immediately?!
2. When we have a complete 4 person T-DD-DD-H guild team and start the queue nothing happens and someone has to go there and enter the dungeon manually.
