Cool new Heavy Attack animation after yesterday's maintenance

This morning I did my first delve since yesterday's maintenance and noticed something a bit different with my heavy attacks. It happened during all combat but I only thought to record the video after killing the boss (fortunately, someone else was there at the same time to do the heavy lifting).
I can't work out if this is working as intended or is a little bugette. Your opinion would be welcome.
